Obviously this is a matter of taste so you're "doing" as well as you think you're doing.

Well i suppose i should of been more specific with this post, but im trying to get a nice balance between prog and trance, and i need a lot more prog songs, as i look over the list again.

not a bad way to start off, must be expensive tho.

Its been ok so far, im at uni, so i have my whole loan to help me out with books, food etc etc, and im catered so my rent includes meals. I worked over the summer, mostly to pay of debts, but with what i had left over, i have used to buy records.

I get paid again at the end of this current month, and that money will pay for my equipment, i just decided that i have so much fun doing sets using mp3s that i should get the actual records, support the people i download from, and play their music properly.

word @ supporting the artists, I feel the same way. I'm at uni too and have about 120 vinyls, no decks though lol. Actually I just got my mixer, and I have decent monitorsm but it'll be several months before I can afford tables. I wish one paycheque could pay for my 'setup' like yours can good work though, equipment =

some great tunes there... I've got the avb sampler, love from the heart and communication was such a bonus! Got the ITWT collector's edition set too... so much for having to pay shitloads for a 2nd hand copy of C Sharp! Fuck I love that tune

wow, you are deprived. i recommend skipping a meal or two, going down to the nearest music shop, and buy a record. it will ease your pain my friend.

Posted by Shad0wmaster on Oct-21-2003 17:41:

yeah i know it sucks. the thing though is that up here new vinyls are really expensive, usually in the order of $13 - $17 for a single record!

edit- that and i never skip meals food is good

Posted by Rememberence_ on Oct-21-2003 18:34:

Yer I also can't afford it lately :/ Well, I could buy a couple here and there but I've realised that I need to be really strict and save my dosh for equipment... it's getting rediculous
