which tracks from Vangelis do u recommned me? I know the album Theme from Antartica, but it's more new age than epic ambient

try the 'art of chill' album mixed by altitude which has just come out on platipus... really nice ambient double cd album

If you want an intro to real ambient, pick up Biosphere - Substrata. It's generally viewed as one of the better ambient albums out there. Having little exposure to the genre, some of the tracks simply changed the way I think about chillout music.
