Jumping Jack? Lineup would look much better with Cam or Stama or someone on there, but oh well....

Will be interesting to see if Darey uses vinyls as well, from what I've heard he mostly mixes CDs...

thanks buddy! But Jumping Jack should deliver, ive spoken to him a few times recently and he is really interested in playing uplifting again and really wants to start pushing the stuff.

I saw him a couple of weekends at SOS and he played a pretty good good set. I went absolutely ballistic when he droped Solar factor - Urban shakedown (Original mix)

I think he should go nuts !

Do anything possible to get in, disguise yourself as a big jugged brunette but don't miss this event...it's Matt Darey ffs

Who cares if there is, just go in and dribble the ball with a hangover while singing "Gamemaster", it's all good

I saw Matt Darey a couple of years ago at Club 77. Marcella Woods performed live, was incredible.

I cant remember that much about the DJ set but I had a good night. Was only about 40-50 people there I think!

I'd be surprised if more people than that would actually fit into Club 77

Posted by Romp on Oct-20-2003 12:47:

heh yea I think I'm probably being generous cos it wasnt that full

This event is one to look forward to.

This interview might be interesting to those going, even though it is a couple of months old: http://trance.nu/v3/interview_show....39/target=blank

Posted by skware on Oct-20-2003 22:09:

I shan't be there, due to a rather pressing prior engagement with Dave Seaman with only 200 other odd people

I still bump into people in cluibs who remember all the people who were there that night. To top it off, as a few of us sat on the sidewalk to take a break after matt's set, matt came out and sat talking to us for about 20 minutes waiting for his ride home. The dj'ing was average, but good trakcs and marcella singing only the dancefloor was awesome. after one mix he went to walk away after hitting stop on the wrong tunrtable. Maybe cd's aren't such a bad thing

Posted by stama on Oct-20-2003 23:37:

didnt he only learn how to mix before he came to Australia that time??

Posted by tubby on Oct-21-2003 00:03:

he did say in his interviews that dj'ing was still pretty new to him but he was working on it. And it didn't take anything away from the night. Was kind of cool when things went silent, he stops walking away then figures it out and hits play with a real sheepish look.
