What is Better? Innercity or Trance Energy ?

? Which party has more capicity of people , which party has a better atmosphere etc ..... ?

Posted by Dj Spiel on Oct-19-2003 20:26:

Well...

I have been to niether so I can't really give you that much of my opinion. Although I have many Videos of Trance Energy/Innercity. I must say Trance Energy Looks a little bigger it also has this killer crowd goign crazy all the time. I go with Trance Energy!

Posted by Switch on Oct-19-2003 21:36:

i've been to Trance Energy 3 times and to Innercity 2 times
and i'd have to say Innercity is way better
Trance Energy is actually more for the young cheeseheads who visit a houseparty for the first time.
that's the common believe in Holland.
Innercity is more for the slightly older crowd, quality of the sets are imo better

Posted by Pio on Oct-19-2003 23:00:

No question, Innercity. Bigger & better crowd, wider variety of genres, better djs.

Posted by Psionic on Oct-19-2003 23:02:

Yeah, I have videos of both, and Trance Energy tends to get boring after watching them for awhile.

Posted by VeNoM on Oct-20-2003 19:59:

Boring?!
I would suggest u watch the video of Push @ TE 2001, crowd is absolutely mad! I love that video.
And as for Innercity, i have Tiesto's video of Sparkles (Airscape Remix) from Innercity 1999 & part of Tiesto's set from Innercity 2002 (source: Another Day @ The Office)! I think it's organized better than TE but TE has a better crowd.
P.S. I'm absolutely amazed when i'm looking @ that beautiful lightshow @ TE 2002!!!

I love both party but I haven't been to one myself DAMN!
P.P.S. Is there some cute girl that would take me there?

Posted by satelites on Oct-20-2003 20:09:

what is innercity? i heard of trance energy and am well associated but this is new to me...

Posted by ambs on Oct-20-2003 20:11:

IC!!!!!! unless you wanna party with non-party people who come there just because it's "TRANCE ENERGY" yuck

Posted by Hitman on Oct-20-2003 20:16:

Innercity is way better!!!

Trance Energy is nothing but an MTV kids-party nowadays

Posted by satelites on Oct-20-2003 20:17:

gd gd, will investigate immediately...

Posted by razzi on Oct-20-2003 20:28:

ive never been to either one, but damn i would love to go to any of them. i like the syle of innercity more, but some of the sets for te are too amazing. hard to choose, i would jump at any chance i get to go to either, no questions asked.

Innercity is way better! I've been to Innercity 4 times now and also 4 times Trance Energy. Innercity has better (more mature) crowd, which also creates a better ambiance in the crowd.

It also has the best DJ's you can see at different rooms: Paul van Dyk, Tiesto, Picotto and Dave Clarke and in the past Carl Cox, Jeff Mills, Hybrid, James Holden, Sister Bliss etc have played on Innercity.

Trance Energy hasn't all of that. People under 18 visit the party's, which isn't allowed. Those people are only going because it's "cool".

Trance Energy hasn't have any good dj's on stage hardly anymore for a while. Last good line-up was in 2000 and 2001 with Marco V, Ferry Corsten, Cross & Scott Bond. Even Club and cheesecheap Hardstyle is now at Trance Energy.

Perfect example is Tomcraft. He scored with "Loneliness" in Holland back in January/February. So ID$T booked him for Trance Energy. Well, he could't mix and he didn't play a single Trance-track.

agreed. i went to the last IC and the last TE and there's no comparison really.

funny how the non-Dutch people here and the people who haven't attended any of these parties say that Trance Energy has a better crowd. that's fucking ridiculous

Posted by VeNoM on Oct-20-2003 21:23:

okay, sorry, now i saw the tracklist
now i', completeley obsessed with this years' Innercity!!!
PvD & Tiësto alone are enough!!!

Dance Valley

Trance energy> Well i have never been there. That's because I don't want to throw money away. Same reason I don't have plans to visit a Sensation party.

Innercity> Nice Line-up, Nice theme. maybe it is a little bit too big. If you want to visit many areas you have to walk for miles.

Conclusion> Innercity is way better. For sure Hollands best indoor event.

But the best partys in holland are in the summer. So everyone who is planning a trip to holland>> come in the summer

doesnt sensation white have guys like armin/tiesto playing there? , whats wrong with it ?

Posted by J.L. on Oct-23-2003 09:28:

i think TE was comparable with innercity 2 or 3 years ago... now it just sux compared to innercity

Both produce some of the most entertaining livesets to listen to IMO

I wouldn't say that. TE 2002-1 had the best line-up imo: Kai Tracid, Yves deRuyter, Dumonde, Cosmic Gate, Blank&Jones, Rank 1, Bas&Ram, and Johan Gielen.....who played a very decent set there!

Okay, maybe I have no comparisation because that was the only TE I attended, but it was a very nice party.

After reading this post, me and my friend is actually thinking about

taking a trip to Holland for Trance Energy 2004.

Would you guys suggest we go? we are comming from hawaii where there
are ZERO trance parties lately.

Any inpute in greatly apprciated.

Posted by Freezel on Oct-23-2003 11:45:

Like some people from Holland said before, you can better visit another party like Innercity, Dance Valley or Mysteryland.

These one's have:
- Better people (no MTV-kids, 15 year olds and f#cked up people)
- Much more ambiance
- Much better DJ's (Top DJ's from all over the world)
- Much better girls
- More musicstyles are representive (worth the money)

These ones are more expensive on entrance-fee but it sure is worth the money!

yup or wait another year and stay a week in holland. Explore amsterdam and the rest of holland. A week after dance valley there is the fast foward dance parade. That is also nice. So if you plan good you have 2 birliant partys in a week
