Need Some Serious Advice!
Ok guys this thread is similar to the guy asking whether or not he should go to the club by him self, its similar but different. Ok heres the deal, Tiesto is coming to my city for the first time ever, hes kicking off Spundae here in Houston. Now I love Tiesto never seen him live, this oculd be a once in a lifetime oppurtunity, but heres the catch. Hes playing at a gay club. Now please do not get me confused, Im not homophobic, Ive even had gay friends, but I am very very religious. I mean really thats what it boils down to really religion I guess. I just dont know if I feel comfortable goin somewhere like that. On another note if I back out my friends are gonna hate me. Right now I really dont know what to do, just look for some opinions and other views. ONCE AGAIN I AM NOT A HOMOPHOBE, AND HAVE NO PROBLEM WITH GAY PEEPS!
If you're for the music, just do it.
People in a club shouldn't affect the night.. well I sure HOPE not.
But if that's the case, and it's the first time Tiesto ever went to your city, go for it. People shouldn't stop you from seeing a fantatistic DJ, because you never know. You might not ever see him again in your city. Have no regrets, and expect nothing but Trance.
GO FOR IT SWEETIE!!! ITS TIESTO FOR GOD'S SAKE!!!
when is this gonna be by the way??? cause im in SA and i would LOVE to see Tiesto!
Isn't the purpose of going to a Tiesto event simply to see/hear Tiesto?
I mean, I obviously check out the girls when I'm at an event like this [non-gay ones tho]. But I'm primarily there for the music. I don't see it as a pick up spot.
I can't vouch for the gay people, but you'd think it would be the same deal? Just going there for the music.
Dude, this is a gay club but I can assure you that most of the people showing up will not be gay, it's Tiesto we're talking about, his crowd is not homosexual (for the most part). I'm going with a couple of buddies and last time I checked i was straight. Cya there!

IMO any religion that doesn't accept the fact that there are people that deviate from the norm, is no religion at all. It's not the gay person's fault he's gay.
The whole purpose of religion is to have people live in harmony. But rather than bringing people together, religion is dividing people apart.
If God exists and if he's almighty, then he can forgive me when I die. Otherwise he is not worthy of being God.
If God was so concerned with who I hang out with, he wouldn't have created homosexuals in the first place.
IMO life is too short to be governed by something that probably doesn't exist. Live life the way you want to live it, 'cuz you only live once.
Religion is over-rated.
You're an idiot if you don't go.
As stated previously... I highly doubt, that the whole crowd is going to be homosexual....
ITS TIESTO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Go! At once! And enjoy for me, since I am so far away from the show!

I'm personally against drugs and alcohol (not due to religion) but I still go to all major events in my city. One way I look at it is that sometimes cigarette companies sponsor the nights. This in turn lowers the ticket price. Now if you go and enjoy your night and don't purchase any cigarette apparel (or cigarettes or whatever) then you are in turn not supporting the cigarette companies as they do not make that much (or sometimes any) money off your ticket price. I think anyways...
But yeah for sure go, think of it as a place where gays and straights are both allowed to have a good time.
I've heard that there's usually straight girls there as well...you pretty much have no competition in picking them up. Plus they might think that you're comfortable with your sexuality enough to go there for a show.
i dont think there's one person here that will tell you Not to go....
so ....
go ....
and ....
enjoy!!!!!!!

hmmm, btw wat is ur religion? i mean in my religion im not suppose to talk to girls unless their related to me, otherwise i would be killed by their big brothers.
also i have to have an arranged marriage, which obviuosly isnt gonna happen if im in canada. so yeh i mean like why do you care if your religon prohibits you from doing what you want. not being allowed to go to a gay club is like saying ur not allowed to go see tiesto. like wtf is that? u know. hope u have a great time and dont worry if u go with someone or by urself, its tiesto after all, so have fun.
p.s. when is tiesto coming to toronto?

Ok I'm gunna Guess your Southern Baptist? Coming from Dallas myself I know what its like, you do live in the bible belt afterall.
Look I'm christian myself, the thing is the bible doesn't say you can't hang out with homosexual men or lesbians. Infact the bible teaches us tolerence towards individuals. I have heard of a passage in there something about how its a sin for men to sleep together like a man and a woman. Dunno where that is, but I dont' think its a sin, I strongly beleive homosexuals can enter the kingdom of heaven.
Can you picture Jesus, all knowing, and one of the most peaceful people, ex. he let people nail him even tho he knew about it in advance. Do you honestly think if he saw a gay man he'd be like, he he, ****** ur gunna burn in hell, go fuck urself.
No.... I don't think so... So if you dont' feel comfortable GO!!!
You obviously have trouble addressing gay individuals as a majority, fact is your gunna run into more of them in life. Sure they are ez to deal with when is just you and your 1 friend. But u seem to be anxt. about a group of them, Where you'd feel out of place, the minority.
Face your fear, you'll find its not bad, if they hit on you which I doubt, you should feel flattered. Men are way more open about expression than women, you can guage where u stand, u hot or not? Great confidence booster, also gay poeple are a totally diff. paradigm somthing new, something ur not used to might be fun. Girls were scary till you found out they were fun right? Djing in front of a crowds scary till u get up there right?
If your really that fucking afraid, you might wanna ask urself why. Is it, I don't feel comofortable being looked upon as a piece of ass? I haven't ever fully made sure I was straight so I might find out I'm gay, bi kinda thing? Either way if you wanna avoid gay men hitting on you dress straight.
Don't trim your nails prior,
Go irish, don't shower, spritz on cologn and some deoderant
Wear baggy pants that hide ur figure,
Wear something hetero like a beer shirt, frat shirt, what have u
MOST IMPORTANT HAVE a GREAT FUCKING TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!
close your eyes....feel the music and stop wondering about who is standing next to you
but i have to confess that i would'n go
I wouldnt go, i could never enjoy the music when you have all those gay guys around you. I would just be to nervous that some dude would try an pick me up.

definately goo for it dude..
btw..what religion do u follow...which doesnt alow that...
