Another Wrestler Dead
Im sad to report that Michael Hegstrand, better known as Road Warrior Hawk of the Legion of Doom, died at 1:30am this morning.
He had just sold his condo and planned to move to his new home today in Tampa, FL. His wife, Dale, said, "He was going to lay down for a while, he didn't feel well." She believed at the tome that it was just from all the packing and the excitement of the move to Florida.
Another one dies young, substance abuse catching up? I really dunno but an awful lot are going far too early
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh Legion of Doom were my favorite Tag Team.

Steroids are carcinogenic and increases your rate of heart attack, I'm pretty sure. So, that's a possible explanation.

I've been watching wrestling for 19 years and this is really sad. Stu Hart, Hawk, Miss Elizabeth, god almighty WTF is wrong with this year?

She was only like 40 or 41.
Anyone who's followed wrestling since the mid 90's shouldn't be too surprised, though it's quite sad nonetheless.
Hawk had a number of drug problems for a while in his career, for a while they even incorporated them into the story of the WWF. I hoped that being so open about it may have helped on the path to recovery.
Shame that it didn't.
Damn shame
