I have a pioneer djm-500 and two tech Mk5's,,, I have a stereo receiver and two speakers hooked up to the mixer as well
Check your needles. You mite need to put more weight on them. Also make sure the TT's are grounded to the mixer.
Ok tt's are grounded,, Ill check the needles tho
not the needles eaither, they still have distortion when I play
hmmmmmmm?
Its ok to hook up a stereo receiver to a mixer right?

Ortofon Niteclub S's
also on one of them I put the needle just down on the record and my speakers hum? Thats weird because they are both grounded too?
I am using about 2.5 weight on them
the louder I turn it up the more cracks, & static crap I get
you have the RCAs out of your decks going into the LINE input on the mixer. use the phono inputs.
they are in the phono inputs
what do I plug from the mixer into my stereo receiver?
I have them going from booth moniter on the mixer into phono on the receiver
Ok well I changed the plugs from the phono inputs to the DAT input and it works ok now,,, is this the one it should be in?
the mixer output plugs into any line input on your stereo.
this could be labelled anything except phono basically, it could be called AUX (like mine) or CD, or TAPE, or i guess in your case DAT will work.
the mixer take the 2 phono signals, mixes them up, and outputs it in line format just like any other device outputs.
Thanks for all your help guys! Mucho appreciated!
