Making trance tracks without a sampler?

Is it possible to make trance tunes without a sampler ?

I know a lot of trance tunes use a sampler like at least 90%

but right now i am building myvirtual studio and I only have a few synthesizers a drum machine and a sequencer,I am considering getting a virtual sampler to add to my studuio but in the mean time can it be possible?

if someone has made songs without samplers or envelope genrators id like to hear them email me a link

if you need to have a hardware sampler.. hehe.. noooooooo

most of the track's made here are made with software only like fruityloops, reason, buzz etc....

and then some softsynth's and samples and such

If you don't use a sampler, then you can use a drum machine instead.
