Angry My Friend Is Such A Damn Idiot...

first, let me tell you that my group of friends and i were saving up our money for the past month to get high on halloween. we had saved up all the cash needed, when my friend (lets just call him bob) came over to my house after school today to hang out for a while. i had some errands to do with my mom (who is a hardcore christian-conservative, btw), and we let bob come with us. on the way back, my mom says shes wants to go get a drink, and i make a joke saying ill take a jack daniels and bob soon after says hell take anything with wiskey. my mom knew we were kidding, but then my friend felt it appropiate to divulge her in his drinking habits.

my mom listens for what he says for a while (while trying as hard as she can to not get pissed off at his underage drinking), then she tried to change the subject to one of her favorite movies, asking him if he has seen it. and he simply replies yeah i have, but i dont remember it cuz i was stoned off my ass at the time (hes saying this to my fucking mom). shes obviously shocked by this (as any hardcore christian-conservative would) and nearly stops the car right in the middle of the road. she tries to act like its no big deal while taking bob home, but after she drops him off, she starts bitching at me like its my fault, and now she wants me to take a piss test to see if i have either any alchohol or marajuana in my system and is going to have a serious talk with my father about this.

so now, getting stoned (or even going out for the night) of halloween is out of the question, thanks to my goddamned friends idiocy. damn, im so fucking pissed right now.

ur mom is a hero

watching/catching girls in schoolgirl outfits on halloween > getting high on halloween and acting like the people in "dude, wheres my car"

how old are you ?

your friend really is stupid

Posted by butterfly on Oct-22-2003 23:30:

yup your friend is an idiot.

No offense but i think it's your mum who is the idiot here if she doesn't realise pretty much everyone is doing on some level what your friend "bob" does.

Edit: Oh and she's making you take a piss test? fuck me. How old are you out of curiousity?

yeah but even so moms dont want to hear it. for example, as i am moving in with my bf, it is obvious that i have had sex but we dont talk about it. i once told her how i was worried about a friend cause he is a recovering heroin addict and he had a relapse and i dont think she was really the best person to vent my worries to. she was concerned but so not in touch with the situation that i think if anything knowing that just made her uncomfortable. i think parents should be content to be ignorant of certain things their children do.

hmmm, i kinda agree with that response. However, i do tell my parents just about everything i've gone through, as in past tense. I think they trust me that what i tell them i've gone through, that i've learned from it and will not try to attempt those things again. however, i do keep them somewhat in the dark to things happening to me right now, such as skipping class sometimes (ya, big deal!) or being a lil active with the laydees.
If they are ever concerned, and ask, i tell them the truth and we get through it together.
I think the mother is right in being concerned with her child and the morals she'd like to pass down to him, as with most parents who have the "abide by big daddy's rules" thoughts

Yes but i bet your mum didn't slam the brakes on in the middle of a road like it was the most obscene thing she'd ever heard either.

i think this is really good and i would do the same. my mom has just never asked. actually that isnt true. i think she asked if i ever did drugs and i said, of course i did them in college, which is true cause i dont really do anything anymore (maybe once a year)

how old are you kid? obviously not old enough to take responsibilites for your own actions, nor of your friends. You must be pretty young if you associate yourself with people like "bob".

Where did I come up with that assumtion? You're doing errands with your mom, and taking friends along for the drive. Your friend "bob" is moronic enough to feel the need to confess his habits to someone who isn't even his own mother. You're referring to your friend as "bob". You're about to be taking a piss test, and have to be referred to your father. All characteristics of... what a 15 year old? Possibly a few years older, but not much.

Your friend "bob" is a moron. Get rid of him. Plus, Halloween is fun enough. You don't need to "save your money and get high" (another characteristic of a youngin'). Go trick or treatin'.

no, shes not the idiot, i cant blame her for wanting to be protective. however, i have told my friend several times to not talk about any form of substance abuse in my house. i was seriously offended by him not respecting what i kindly asked him.

i disagree, i think his mom is acting properly. Any mother who cares for their children wouldnt let them do drugs.

You cant blame your mother dude, shes your mother and cares for you

Your friend is a dumb ass, if you wanna do drugs or smoke up or whatever, thats your decision.

man, what a stupid guy eh?

I've done my share of shit in the past, and I may sound old when saying this, but at 16 you shouldn't be smoking up anyway. Atleast wait till you're out of high school.

Seriously, it's a bad habit to start so young.

At 16 I was wearing glitter on my nails. Now I paint them black, go figure. Anyway aren't you a little young to be trying out all those things? There's only one time and place for that and that's college mmmmkaayyy? *southpark*
I'm serious tho kids who take drugs in high school scare me because they might not graduate becase of it. And then you end up squeegeeing someones windshield.

Well he obviously is curious and you have to admit that hes a lot less likely to fuck up his life takin them at college or after he graduates grade school. Drugs are bad tho and no matter what they say pot is a segway drug. Even if you don't think so now you'll see what I mean. Your pot friends will start experimenting with other shit first but you wont want to. Then eventually you'll get drawn into it. Ok off my podium. Who's gonna step up?
