never forgotten

For me personally the horrible time of year has come, as today (23rd) is 8 years since i lost my grandad, my best friend, my dad all in one, my real dads a bit of a tit, ne1 who knows him would know that, and my grandad did like everything for me & more, anyway he had a slight heart problem due to asbestos from working in mining & power station. some assholes smashed glass on all the older oflks drives so he want to speak to their parents, staggered back 200 yards, out of breath & collapsed & died on their doorstep, made me realise for sure that theres no god or anything cos he wouldn't let something like that happen & leave lesser ppl like me, my real dad or the ****s who caused the big attack to happen & got nothing done against them to be here still

RIP

You will always be with me

i'm sorry to hear that Ian. i'm the first one to say i'm not religious by any means, but i dont think its fair to say theres no God....your loved ones may be in heaven right now resting peacefully....i dont know why such horrible things happen like that, but dont lose faith. my thoughts and prayers are with you today...

the main problem being that when the best ppl go, and im not just saying this, he'd have done anything for anyone, and leave inferior ones like me or loads of others, it makes it hard to believe there is sum1, Heaven's no good when my nana still needs him, we love her so much but shes still missing a piece without the man shes loved for 48 years

Well Ian, you know we talked about this on MSN, and I spoke of my loss too. Well for reasons which maybe you can understand I don't want to discuss that publically, but I'm glad that you did

As for the faith thing, well I'm sure that your grandfather is up there in heaven, and I'm sure that those responsible will realise what have done and feel remorse eventually.

If he was as good a man as you make him out to be, he will be rewarded in his next life.
