Very well. I command you to put a bassline in your song.

Its a start. I'm trying to remember what my first song sounded like. Are you trying to make hard house?

Well my suggestions
1. your track needs a bassline
2. try and put some more percussion in there. Even a simple cymbol inbetween the kick and a clap on every second kick. That's the standard percussion set out. It should give you a start.
3. Try and make a build up that leads to a breakdown. Then build up again to go into your main melody.

you've been registered on this site since 2001 and you don't know what a bassline is??

anyway, its hard to explain, but its a part to percussion that isn't the kick or the claps, hihats etc,... it gives the track movement...here is a generic bassline that you can grow off...

Kick X---X---X---X---

Bassline --X---X---X---X-

hopefully you can see that a bassline is sort of a balance to the kick...i don't know i can't explain it...someone please do better hehehe...

Your track...

Very interesting track. Sounds like something easily played at 3am on a Saturday night in New York City.

I'm probably not the first one to say this, but you need to add some elements, both in percussion and in bass background. But you're off to a good start...check out my page at the website address below this note for my music.

HAT --H---H---H---H-
