well after getting the pcv275, today i brought one denon dn-s3000. so far im enjoying it, but does anyoone know how to change the pitch range? ill read the manual later because im too lazy right now. im gonna get my second deck soon, like in a month or so.

No, seriously... push and hold the pitch/key button for about 2 secs.
then you can use the parameter knob to change the pitch...

I know it has less features, but how does it hold up to the 5000 - performance wise?

The biggest thing you miss w/ the 3000's is the alpha track and the cue/loop points..
On the 3000 you only get 1 loop..

Performance wise they are identical though IMO.
The scratching, cueing, cue point memory, etc.. are all the same.

They are def. a step up from the Pioneer CDJ800 or the numark axis 8/9's...

im gonna buy the 5000 when i get more cash. im likeing the 3000 so far. so im gonna have 1 3000 and 1 5000, with a pcv275 mixer. i dont know about performance wise which one is better, i havent tried the 5000 yet.
