hey fatboy check out ff9....also if you all dont know this but Square is remaking FF7 thru 9 on PS2..might come out middle 2002...i think is going to look like FFX....BTW i am there for the movie...

i wouldn't expect those ps2 remakes of ff7-9 being released outside of japan.

I've beaten 1 4 5 6 7 8 and almost 9. six was the best by far.

ps I would've beaten 2 and 3 exccept you can only get them in japanese

I haven't played 1-6 though
With 7 I got to the point where I was to beat Sephirot, but I went through the game to fast, what caused that I wasn't strong enough.
I stopped playing and haven't touched the game since. I think I might start with it again some time soon.

yeah no doubt. by far the most emotional event in any game i have ever played. thats why it IS the BEST GAME i have ever played. i have never got sucked into a video game the same way FF7 did to me. its almost like trance .........er......maybe not....

I played 7&8, now I'm busy with 9... I didn't like 8 that much, but 7 was great!! 9 is very cool too!! I think it comes very close to 7.

Did anyone play BALDUR'S GATE??? Coz I think that's the best RPG ever! I just couldn't stop playing it.. sometimes I was playing till 06.00 in the morning!

yeah 8 was weak as hell..... the way squall fell in love with rinoa was complete shit.

8 was the weakest ff. The only saving grace was Irvine. Squall and CLoud were too loner/I don't care about anyone or anything, type characters. Zidane from 9 is cool, he hits on the ladys and is really dynamic. 9 is a great game. If you guys want to play the best tho and don't mind the crap graphics pick up 6.

That's what I meant.
In that cave you have to go through (where you can't save), I was attacked by this f*cking dragon. I beated him the first two times, but then I couldn't handle him anymore. I never got to Sephirot, but I know I didn't have to get much further to find him. I got to Jenova I believe. I don't remember what the monsters and their attackes where called, because I didn't play the game for about 9 months now.

argh i tried to but those graphics really can't attract my attention.
i keep getting distracted by other things because the visuals are so poor. i know its a great game with a great story though. hehe i spoiled the story for myself since i know i won't have the patience to play that game. 10 looks real nice but i wonder how the story will be. i guess i will never know since i don't plan to buy ps2. hopefully they will have emulators for it soon. i have a dvd drive it should be all good provided they make a nice emulator for ps2.
