Need help with Reason & Rebirth

i currently have a track using a drumloop made in Rebirth and some effects with the RV-7 and Redrum. my problem is that in Reason's sequencer, Rebirth doesn't show up as a track at all even when i add a new track it's not included in the drop menu. the loop plays fine, the input machine is open and activated. i'm just unable to sequence. what exactly am i doing wrong?
