It's going to be a fucking amazing night!!!!

HELL YEAH!!!!

Posted by MasterBry on Oct-25-2003 07:06:

baaaaaaaaah humbug.

sucks that I wont get paid till next week, so no can see G&D whip up the crowd for the man himself... *sigh*, and i SO wanted to see gimpy DaveT dancing on his busted-ass leg

Hey, MasterBry I tell you what I'll do for you, I'll hold Evil Dave up with one arm so not to have any gimpy dancing (even though Dave danced harder than any of us) and I'll hold on to Ms. France with the other arm.

Sorry to hear that you won't be making it for the Tiesto show. I'll be at NV on the 15th for Ferry Corsten. Tickets are only $15, that means I'll have some extra cash left over for drinks!!!! Make sure your broke ass is there!!

Note that I didn't really dance, but more of just jumped all night...it's all I could really do with the taped up ankle w/ the brace

I'll surely be at Ferry. Still need to buy my ticket, though. Actually, I know a bartender that works weekends at NV pretty well from a bar she works at during the week....maybe a guest list hookup.

So glad Spundae is bringing in a Funktion One system for Ferry.

hahahaha, i remember Dave's "dance"... it wasnt so much a ultra-sleek rhythm-moving groove... rather more of mad-hopping-frenzy

but of course i'll have some dough by the 15th, cant miss Corsten this time around, anybody got hookups with ferry's management? I'td be nice to do another Armin-type thing, the last one went quite nice I must say.

I'll be there for Mssrs. Gabriel, Dresden, and Verwest, unless my seemingly gone flu relapses and sends me back to NyQuil Town.

Rasta

the groovetickets website says doors open at 10 and close at 3 am. i dont know when each will start....i'm guessins gabriel and dresden wont start till like 10:30 so people can get in and get some drinks.

oh yeah....can you buy tickets at the door? i assume so, but maybe its easier to order off of groovetickets?

WOWOWOWOWOWOWOW - Gabriel & Dresden KICKED ass. Both told me they had a blast. The new Motorcycle track ROCKS. I think it's better than most people give it credit for. As the crowd filed in, it didn't take long for anyone to start dancing. No standing around for long or anything. It was great!

They had to play longer than sceduled because Tiesto arrived late after being stuck in San Diego because of the fires going on there (I heard he had to drive up instead of fly).

Tiesto rocked - what was disappointing was the sound system....It was AWESOME sound as he Mezzanine is supposed to have the ultimate sound system out here but Tiesto caused it to crack three times. It might have been a dirty needle, but not sure.

The crowd was going nuts all night - Tiesto seemed to be having a blast dancing all over the place behind the decks...but security made him stop before we were all ready for him to stop (probably because it was a Sunday night). I don't think anyone was ready to go...including Tiesot.

No cameras were allowed (WTF is up with that!!?!?!?!) but I know a person who was able to get one in and I believe she got a few pics.

WTF really urked me is a lot of people were saying G&D were playing "Tiesto's tracks" .... mainly, As the Rush Comes and Beautiful Things....it goes to show you how little the average EDM fans knows.

Absolutely GREAT night! It was great to see out some of the folks from the TA board.

I danced my assssss off all night - fantastic!!!

Posted by DaveT on Oct-28-2003 00:43:

Yeah, it all rocked....I still just wish it could have lasted longer.

Guiv (Spundae head honcho, as some of you know) said he loves G&D, so hopefully he'll book them more!

Upset that security didn't let the night go on. GRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hell, The Mezz's head security guy started dancing at the end!
