Main Chords Used

Lately, I've been getting rather serious about producing techno. I was just wandering if theres a main set of chords that most producers go by for melodic trance/techno or if it's just what ever they feel. I hear a basic trend with most major producers, but I'm unable to pick em out! Any help would be apreciated!
