Empirical Labs - Turtle Beach

This song was on the "Blank & Jones in the Mix 2" compilation cd apart from that I have no details but it sounds wicked.

Release date set for: 2003. All I know at the moment.

I heard it on TAW, and I searched if anyone posted this tune and no one did. I had to do the honours

Yes, old name of this track Charger - Turtle beach, and it was on Blank & Jones mix CD... But now it's called Empirical Labs - Turtle beach and signed to A State Of Trance label with fuckin' awesome Outback remix. Release date: 22. november

I've been waiting for this song, and now, literally a year after I first heard it, it is finally coming out on Armada

a2 - Outback Remix

so uplifting, so full of energy, I still love it as much as I did the first time
I give it a 9.8/10, and thats only cause I think no song is a 10/10

I had it as my #1 tune of the month for September & October of 2002 since Armin played it on ASOT 65.
Here's my story behind my own discovering of it:

I was on the godawful bus-ride back from NYC to Radford University (in sw VA) that lasted like 20 freakin hours. The bus trip was only supposed to be about 9 hours, which is bad enough, but I got stuck for 6 fucking hours at the DC bus-transfer stop over night cause the transfer bus never came! I had just finished seeing Ti�sto @ Roxy in NYC that past Friday, and I was exhausted.
So I was on the 2nd leg of this nightmarish trip from DC down to Radford in the middle of the night. The only thing keeping me sane was my RioVolt CD-mp3 player, and a couple of mp3 data-discs, one of which had ASOT 65 on it. So I was like, half-asleep on this bus, somewhere in the middle of VA with my earphones on. And I hear it (Turtle Beach) come on, and Im like: JFC!!!!!!!!! THIS SONG IS FAWKING INCR#EDIBLE
I had no idea what it was at the time, and all the music had melded together in my mind, you know how it is when you are half-asleep. But the melody stuck in my head. So I went back and listened to that episode over nad over, and looked at the tracklist and found out what it was.
And since then I have been on a never ending quest to get a copy of this song! Clinging onto my own ASOT radio-rip was the only thing keeping me going.

Yeah what an incredible track. I personally love the Outback remix. Its one of the closest tracks I've ever heard that just has that certain "sound" in it that my mind longs to hear. Can't wait for its release.

It has grown on me quite a bit, but I find it more of a mellow opener than a later set tune.

Just so you all know the November 22 release date is wrong. I just picked up a copy of Turtle Beach from Juno. I think I got really lucky because they are out at the moment. However Only-DJs still has copies available but you are going to be raped on the shipping.
