WELL WELL WELL!! Richies first show in Windsor since about 3-4 years ago! Now looky here,,, Richie, Madga, and Clark.... On Halloween, at Wired Niteclub in downtown Windsor,,, anyone going? If so get tickets soon before its sold out,,25$ canadian,, he rented out the top floor of wired niteclub and I guess he is bringing massive amounts of speaker equipment and lighting equipment too,, so what hes doing is he has the say for everything because it is his own party.. So with all that said,, who is going now?

I will be there for sure!

I think its at wired because richie saw potential for the upstairs floor,, so thats why hes renting it out,,

I think Richie is performing as Plastikman? I don't find that appealing at all. I have no desire to go if that's the case, tho Madga alone would be worth it.

unfortunatly, i wont be able to see him in Windsor, I be seeing him in Chicago on the 1st.

Personally, after hearing the new album, im looking forward to hearing a typical plastikman minimal dark techno set. But, thats just me.

His preformance @ H.o.b. in Chicago a few monthes back was, rather tacky. It was very tech-house and i just didnt get into it.

Looks like i'll be in Windsor that weekend with some friends....might as well hit this up....where abouts is the club? I know the downtown area fairly well but its been years since the last time i've been to windsor.

its on the biggest downtown street called Oullette and I believe its on Wyndotte corner,, so pretty much Wyndotte & Oulette and its right there!

Richie Hawtin in Windsor!!

I truely believe that going to Windsor to see Richie Hawtin dj a party would be a great Halloween experience. I've only seen him once, but he did an amazing show in the streets of Detroit during the Taste Fest this year. I would really like to go do this if anybody is interested. I know Halloween in Ann Arbor is cool and all that, but this is something different, plus all of you youngsters could drink legally. Hmmm, wait a second, a whole crowd full of young female drinkers, maybe I should stay away from this one since my girlfriend would get awful upset with me if she saw me there. Damn it Richie, come out to Ann Arbor sometime again. Throw a party on the Diag, or better yet, at my apartment since the Necto isn't bringing in anybody cool anymore. It doesn't matter how loud it is around here, I'm in the middle of a bunch of buisnnesses and across from Rick's, the bar. If anybody knows Richie and wants to pass on the messege, that would be great.

I don't know about the other two, but Hawtin does NOT spin trance. Its either dark, minimalist techno (if he's spinning as Plastikman, which is likely since the new Plastikman CD just came out), or it's tech-house.

WOAH!!!

Magda is one of my favs. Can't really define her style. I would describe it as techno, electro, and house. Very dark and experimental but good stuff. Bod already answered for Hawtin. He will be playing minimal since he's preforming as Plastikman.

It was awesome!!!! I read the toronto reviews and how much he sucked there the day b4,,, but OMG he was fuckin awesome! Great turnout too! Place was packed,,, best Windsor party I have ever been too,, He played an extra 50 minutes or so also,, so the party went till about 5 am!
