Don't you just love sunday's?

By far the best day of the week. You can lie in til whenever you want to get over the hangover from the heavy clubbing and drinking etc the night before. You can go down the pub and catch the Sunday football and then in the evening chill out before you got work/school the next day. Ok I love fridays cos its the start of the weekend, and saturdays for going out, but I dont think Sunday can be beaten.. even if it does seem to rain all the time..

Nowadays Sundays are not that good. Maybe because I started working last week. Before that I didn't care what day it was, they were all the same. Sleep until you wake up, go to TA and some other sites, and basically do nothing. In January I'm going to the army, and it's about 170 km from here, so I have to travel a long way every Sunday..

But a couple of years ago it was different. I slept long, woke up, watched TV a couple of hours (shows like Simpsons, Futurama and some other series), then get up, go outside with my friend.. Those were the days..

Sundays are the worst for a few reasons.

1. I have to work the next day
2. I can never seem to get anything done all weekend so its a last
minute thing on Sunday and I get no sleep.
3. A lot of places close way to early on Sunday or just aren't open
at all.

The first thing I do on Sunday is make a list of everything I have to do before 8am Monday. Which is usually all the assignments I put off all week, my laundry, write e-mails home, etc. Immediately, I am overwhelmed and the only way I handle being overwhelmed is to avoid it all...procrastinate. And laundry room is full because everyone waits until Sunday to wash clothes. And then about now, I start freaking out because I have SOOOOOOOOOOOO much to do and there's no way I can do it all.

Nah, I don't like Sundays. I like Saturdays. On Saturday, I just put everything off until Sunday.

Lazy fuck day is what we call Sundays here. we dont do shit, we just loundge around all day and try to do as little as possible.

Then sunday nights I get to listen and chat on GDJB

Agreed... on sundays friends always seem to be busy, I never feel that good, and in general they're boring.

i always feel like i hvae to do uni hw because i shouldn't procrastinate, but i always end up not doing anything productive.

The sunday lunch. You just cant beat it. Especially when you go down the pub for one. Chicken, roasties, peas, carrots, yorkshire puds, lashings and lashings of gravy... mmmmmm, sunday lunch.
