Radiohead - Street Spirit (Tiesto Remix)

Hey,

This tune is one of this year's best remixes.
It's unbelievable, even hardcore Radiohead fans like it.

I was just wondering if it would get released though, does anyone know anything about it !?

Street Spirit is one of my all time favourite Radiohead tunes and I have to say Tiesto has delivered a surprisingly good mix out of it. I'd love to get a full version but I don't think this will ever get an official release... Radiohead is notoriously difficult when it comes to getting permissions to release dance remixes... hopefully some naughty bootleg will surface later on...

Maybe he wanted to show Oakenfold how a Street Spirit remix should have been done... the remix Oakenfold was playing few years ago wasn't very good imo... and to call this remix just a speeded up version is a bit of an understatement...

Dood I just heard Tiesto spin this last Saturday and it was the shiznit. Actuall I'm surprised there was a post about because I wanted to find out what it was. that suck that its not getting pressed on vinyl.

There are just bad rips floating around. But I hope that one time, a set of Ti�sto when he's playing this tune will be recorded in GOOD quality. Not like as his essential mix or something like that. Then we can make a "reconstruction"

Another thing I made is; I took the first part of "Mr Sam Vs Tim Coltrane - The Tribute (Original Mix)" and then I pasted the Original Street Spirit melody into the tune and made the "reconstruction" just for me. 'cause "The Tribute" sounds a bit like the Ti�sto Mix of Street Spirit tune or whatever..

it's a poor remix of a good radiohead song. better than oakeys but still doesnt do justice. not one of tiesto's better remixes by any means....

For the umpteenth time: OAKEY HAS NOT REMIXED STREET SPIRIT! The remix you're on about is Wonky's Feel The Rush Remix, which he has caned left right and centre. Oakey has stated several times already that he did not do that remix.

As for this remix, I think it does no justice to the original. The stomping sledgehammer kick drums and those high-pitched synths have no subtlety whatsoever, and has generally very little to no regard for the original left, which is my main reason for disliking it.
