Rip..............the End Of Hooj Choons

I'm not sure how new the press release is on the Hooj Choons site but it would appear one of the longest running and most respected record labels in Underground music....is no more.

.....many factors have led to a debt for which they could not get out of. If you have ever bought vinyl....there is no doubt you understand the impact this label has had in it's 13 year existence. Hundreds of releases spanning all forms of Trance, Progressive and House were brought to us by the HOOJ label. For those who don't know, look HERE and you will see the many now CLASSIC tunes that HOOJ has released over the years.

It is a sad day for underground music and I thought it important that we all know that a legend in the field has come to it's end

that's a pity really .. perhaps the people behind this label will one day start up a new one ..

i've heared of that a few months ago. I have NO idea what's going on with them but RIP.

I figured the word had probably already gone out to some people...

I was totally surprised by it as I had just bought some new releases from them and thought they were still going strong.
