Detox - How to ?
It's been a long time since i did anything remotely healthy but I feel like it now.
I've heard u can detox your body by drinking water for a day and only having apples at meal times but how much water/apples would you need, and are there any other ways ?
Fasting. Do a 5 day fast. the first two days you burn portein and then switch to fat. You can safely fast up till 40 days. In fact my friend did it when his girl ditched him at his birthday dinner after 2 years of dating.
Ive done it, and its awesome. You just drink water all day long. Totally cleans out your system.
Nothing hard about it. Just dont eat for 5 days. If you are interested in the working of it, just read up about it online, its pretty basic, but fascinating what it does chemically to you.

A 5 day fast is my no means easy. Well, at least I know I'd stuggle 
Worth a try though. How much weight would you lose in that period out of interest?
Another way to do it
Eat uncooked food for 3 days, then drink only juice for 3 days after that (only certain ones) .. completely cleans you up, feel so good afterwards.

you typically lose a lb a day. and fasting is different from eating veggies. Normally you prepare yourself for a fast by eating veggies, But you arent supposed to even use broth when you are fasting. You want your body to stop pumping enzymes and shit into your stomach.
Also think of how long your intestines are. Give your body a fucking break. Its working all day every day. Imagine the inner healing that will take place when HUGE mass of coils and muscle can be dormant. All energy goes into cleaning skin, ditching toxins, etc...
I seriously need to cleanse my system. I've heard about this Detox thing before, one of my mates did it, and she said it was great. I dont know about not eating though. When you work hard all day (yeah, right!) you've gotta keep your energy levels up, and I haven't got any fat to burn.

Hang in a glass box over a river in London or wherever it was for 44 days....youll detox your body and hopefully get money too, and be an attention whore :P

protein diet:
extremely low carbs...practically none...
lots of water, no soda...
only green vegetables...
only fruits: bananas and strawberries...
red meat, chicken, turkey...
recommended foods:
quaker rice cakes
lots of salads w/non-fat dressings
TUNA
egg whites
and meat 
whips you into shape like woah

im sticking to my guns on fasting. You literally can work 40 hour weeks, and do moderate exercise and not eat for probably 25 days. Youd lose 1-2 lbs a day, so cut it off where you feel comfortable. Most body builders fast for at least a week before a show to get to 0 percent fat. id say 90% of the people at the last comp i went to did that and I know 2 of them. You could see the veins in their stomach.
So it isnt like youll keel over and die. Fasting for 1 day kind of cleans your system, but at day 3 all sorts of interesting things start happening. At day 6 you get euphoria
its just good shit. try it.

aight m8 I'm guessing your doing this for health reasons stead of drug reasons. Welp a great way is to be a Raw Foodist. You can't eat anything that get hotter'n 105. Cooking, like burning anything kills 80% of the nutrients. There for being a raw foodist is the way to go. Then your detoxed everyday, this is the tru Lazy/health nuts diet. I've been on it 2 days, although I hate it, It makes me feel hella good all the time, I barely need any sleep and I feel great constant NRG, also my hair and body have decreased oil production significantly. My guess is I'll never have a pimple again. At any rate i'm doing this for shits and giggles just to prove I have discipline.

I strongly suggest using the raw diet for 2-3 days and then trying a 5 days fast. It really is an amazing feeling. Youll realize how weak you really are
I'm going to do weds/thurs/fri on something, probably water & fruits
dude, no need put your self thru shit to clean your body out.
just eat healthier. drink lots of water and juices. eat lots of veggies and meat.
stay away from synthesized foods. like microwavable crap, chips, candys (petty much don't eat any food that you can buy at a gas station).
buy fresh fruit and fresh veggies and eat those. buy fresh meat and cook it up. grill up some steak or some fish. stay away from greasy crap.

If u want to clean ur system out, take a bloody laxative 
If you want to loose weight, eat a well balanced diet, dont skip any meals especially breakfest because the first meal gets ur metabolism started.
Eat until you are full, then stop. Its best to have smaller meals and snack on a piece of fruit.
At the end of the day depriving ur body of food for 40 days= starving urself, wat good is that, yes you may shed the pounds, but as soon as you eat anything they come straight back.

Naw, seriously. Instead of starving myself, fainting and feeling good and full of energy after eating a cracker 5 days later, I'd eat mediterranean food for a couple weeks.
Ask any doctor, besides some minor lacks in terms of vitamins (which you can complement with fruits), the food customs from the mediterranean guys is greatly balanced and healthy as hell. PLUS is really delicious

Get some paella, fresh fish, etc, etc.

2 questions.
how much water should i be drinking? the usual recommended 8 glasses / day or more?
how do i go back to eating, as far as my understanding goes, i can't just not eat for 5 days and then stuff myself with buffalo wings and pizza. soups? salads?
