GoGo Dancers? Whats The Point?!!?

I was jsut done watching a Ferry Corsten live video of him performing, and there was some go go dances on platforms dancing.

Anyone know the point of these dancers?

agreed but i think the idea is more to create return customers out of the noobs at that club or event.

would u prefer a club with no dancers?...how about no lights?...and then we could also get rid of the drinks and dancefloot, and while we are at it get rid of the bathrooms....gimme a break....whats the point of anything....just shut up...and now i quote DJ Merlyn's track Krass.."some people are fucking stupid"

The poster is from Hawaii - maybe clubs there don't bother with gogo dancers hence the point of this thread.

90% of clubs in the world have female dancers on display....u know it and i know it....they are props the way lasers and screens with graphics are....

If u get rid of the dancers..might as well do away with those other props....

They are for atmosphere...any "arrogant" fool knows that

bah I have no problem with the dancers. Gorgeous women just randomly dancing in their own world, works for me. Although a lot of the time they arent exactly dancing really good, it is eye candy.

I do however, have a problem with the MC screaming in the background.
