Sad news for those who cared about the RE:MIX parties...one good party finished as a result of apathy!

Subject: [remixdc] Official announcement on RE:MIX and the Dj Dan event

We would firstly like to thank all those who came out and supported the RE:MIXdc project at the DC Tunnel but due to a lack of support by our local scene and culture we have decided to end our weekly Saturday night event at the DC Tunnel effective immediately. We will however still be hosting DJ Dan this week at SONAR in Baltimore with STRANGERS H:R:S and DEREK FENWICK. (407 EAST SARATOGA ST BALTIMORE MD 21202).

We hope that those who did attend any of our shows will attest to our commitment to produce innovative, quality events. Check out www.REMIXdc.com to sign up on the mailing list to keep up to date on our next project which is scheduled to begin in the next few weeks.

Regardless of where you go or who you support, if you want to continue to have quality events and venues to attend its up to you, the patron, to SUPPORT!!!!!!!

Kinda stinks i wanted to check it out! But they needed better advertising.. i got some flyers from starscape but glow's were better and well sat night is a big night...

So.. lets get down to business.. glow needs to move to Tunnel or someone mentioned the Edge? is it still open? i thought i heard it closed..

yea mos def. glow to the tunnel, then we will have actual room to dance, what a change that would be!

LOL In my opinion its not too late to move TIESTO there.. hell they can just get some shuttle buses for those who don't get the notice before Sat night..

Damn that sucks. I wanted to check out Re:Mix at tunnel sometime. I guess they just couldnt survive on the same night as Glow.

But I agree I think gLow should move to Tunnel! and soon dammit

but let's face it, it's pretty impossible to throw a successful weekly EDM party at DC Tunnel, it is just too massive and out of the way
so much potential there
