Melodic uplifting dance\trance nice-vocal songs!

What's the best "melodic uplifting dance\trance nice-vocal songs" you know about? I don't like the songs lasting for over 6 minutes...
I like songs from Mario Lopez, Dancenation, Jan Wayne, Aurora and stuff. Please help me find more fantastic songs!

Posted by Trancenorway on Oct-30-2003 09:59:

Just from my mind:

Plummet - Damaged
Miss Shiva - Just More
Labworks - Ibiza Sunrise

Most of Space Brothers (love the vocals in "One more chance")
....And Noemi, Kate Ryan, MarkOh if you like that.

If you havent? I can recommend some quality trance tune: Check out
Tiesto ,Paul van dyk and Blank & Jones as a start, or i can give you some tunes.

Snakkes...

thanx

Ok, takk. I've heard about Mark oh, Noemi Blan&Jones and those. But I think they make to childish melodies. Dancenation really knows what they're doing when they make their melodies. "Joy to the world" for example.

Snakkes ja Norsk?

Don't think Tiesto, PVD and Blank and Jones are childish... The other one maybe. People her get angry if you say so...

Check out these:
Blank & Jones - A Forest
circ - destroy she said (de donatis)

If you like Dance Nation and Jan Wayne, then I suggest Groove Coverage, Rocco, Redwing and Starsplash.

And yes, I do hate this stuff.

This commercial style of music (dance-trance) was my fauvorite but now is Trance (uplifting, melodic, vocal trance but not cheesy).
Here are some good tunes that I really loved, I still like these songs but nowadays I prefer trance songs:
Paffendorf - Be cool / Crazy, sexy, marvellous
Secret Tunes - House of the rising sun
Talla 2XLC - Can you feel the silence
Vincent de Moor - Fly away
Q Tex - Power of love (Rezonance Q remix)
Neo Cortex - Elements / Don't you
Hampenberg - Don't lie to me
Floorfilla - Sister golden hair
Cosmic Man - I love you
Apollo - Dance
Andre Visior - Speed up
4 Clubbers - Someday
Aquagen - The summer is calling
Erika - Relations
Groove Coverage - God is a girl
Jessy - Look at me now
Laze - Steppin' out
Master Blaster - Hypnotic tango
Noemi - Y.O.U. (I don't know what version but PvD played this song in his set at Cream, Amnesia Ibiza 16-8-2002)
Noemi - I do 4 U / In my dreams / When angels kiss
N-Trance - Forever
Silverblue - Here in my heart
Snap! - Rhythm is a dancer (Cj Stone rmx)
Oxyd - Is it you
Unit 5 - Feel the stars
...
Also try to listen:
- Richi M, Marc et Claude, Dj Marc Aurel, Ian Van Dahl, Groove Coverage, Dj Tatana, Dj Sammy,
- Good vocals ---> Milk inc., Fragma, Novaspace, La Luna

Arrow AS USUAL...BASH THE Noobie

press search button and search for 'cheese'

This is getting old...(the cheese comments and n00b bashin')
Every one new here gets told, "OMG you like DJ Sammy! You have no ear for this kinda stuff...you need to plug into 11 minutes of the same 2 measures of nothingness..." or some such bunk.
Granted, I did grow into Tiesto quite a bit and you were right for the most part about DJ Sammy and his ilk...

But please realize that there is an evolutionary process to this genre. Actually, only classical music is similar in that regard. It takes time.
So... give a fella what he wants (cheese as you like to say)

Alice DeeJay - Better Off Alone
Amber - One More Night (Club Mix)
Angelmoon - All I Want Is All I Need
Daniel Bedinfield - If You're Not The One (Metro Mix)
Ian Van Dahl - Castles In The Sky
Milk Inc. - In My Eyes
Orion - See Me Here (Full Vocal Mix)

These are more dance choons than trance for sure so don't even bother sayin it...

Daniel Bedinfield - If You're Not The One (Metro Mix)
Now that's a good track

Fifth Dimension

How could anybody not list 5th Dimension Masters & Nickson with Justine Suissa..

Incredible Uplifting Vocal Track...

Still don't even really know what the lyrics are all about, but that's one of the reasons i keep listening to it..trying to figure it out..

GET IT and see what u think..

Noemi-Y.O.U.(Mezziah Mix)

though theres two versions...cuz one has vocals..one doesnt. I tried to look for a dub, but no luck...maybe im not trying hard enough

Posted by Icesotope on Oct-31-2003 10:05:

I think D.U.G. Feat. Bjork - The Anchor Song suits u best

heh. did i bash him? did i recommend less cheese-defined trance? no.
he wanted similar music to aurora, jan wayne, and dancenation, so i figured the easiest way to find more of it is just to do a simple search, for 'cheese'. i gave him what he wanted.

The best vocalic remixes i've heard are:

* Yanou ft Do - On and On (Flashrider Remix)
* Solar Stone ft Elizabeth Richards - Speak in sympathy (Original Mix)
* Sylver - Turn the tide (CJ Stone Mix)
* Noemi - In my dreams (Kosmonova Remix)
* Dona di Palma - I run to you <-- Almost unknown but amazing!!

Smiling Frog Cheez - the new trance genre!

So I guess what I'm hearing (not just in this thread) is that all questionable vocal, uplifting and mainstream trance tunes can be listed under a sub-genre of trance called Cheez Trance...
NICE!

Not trance at all, more like Dance/Eurodance.
