AvB @ Mazzo tonight

Hi people!

A friend of mine and I are visiting the ADE in Amsterdam this weekend, and we're planning to go see Armin at Mazzo tonight. It would be cool to meet up with some of you before the party, as the place we're staying at (the StayOkay hostel) is really quiet and REALLY lacking party people.

Just PM me if you have any suggestions at all, of course a pre-party would be wonderful!

A pre party isn't working for us because we will be in Amsterdam at 12.00 or something but we can meet inside!

I can't make it for a preparty neither.

By the way, doors will open at 22.30 already, because they expect a lot of people! Cappacity of Mazzo is only 300 so be there on time!

I'm not shure yet if i'm goning or not... we still don't have word back from the organistion
And without response i'm not taken the risk of standing there with my camera and not be allowed to take it inside because i won't leave it in my car the whole night!

So perhaps i'm coming without camera, i'm not shure because yesterday was a rough night and tomorrow and saturday are also going to be rough

We made it!! MArkus and I will see everyone there later!!! Just going to see some of the sights of AMsterdam and then dinner, and then to the club!! Make sure you find me and say hi!!!!

Armada Night!

Wat een super avond zeg! eigenlijk bijna niet te omschrijven!
De Mazzo is echt een onwijs gezellige kleine tent Bij binnenkomst stond Lemon 8 achter de draaitafels. Hij draaide al erg lekkere progressive plaatjes (uitschieter; Insight - Prophecy 2003)
Armin stond gewoon tussen het publiek met iedereen te kletsen, hoe gaaf vond ik dat!
Vervolgens rond een uur of 1 begon Armin! net 3de van de wereld geworden! woeii! en hij zette echt een sublieme set neer, met zeker niet allemaal makkelijk plaatjes! super set zeg! gewoon aan ��n stuk door genieten! en de knaller van heel de avond was toch wel; Roland Kinkenberg - Monday Groove! Wat een plaat zeg! Hij draaide verder nog Forever Waiting, Let's Get Ill, One More Day, Beautiful Things en Heal.
Het opvallende was ook de perfecte sfeer, echt partypeople die lekker stonden te gillen! en mensen uit Engeland, Amerika en Duitsland
Ook nog Perry O'Neill en C-Quence ontmoet.
Verder liep Spider er nog rond, en C-Quence vertelde dat Darren Tate en Mike Koglin er ook nog waren maar die heb ik niet gezien.
Verder hele toffe tranceaddicts ontmoet ChooChoo, Kakao & Dj-David!
En natturlijk weer de Bouma-Bros! Super!

En toen was het tijd voor een Dj waar ik ook echt naar uit zat te kijken; Markus Schulz! en serieus, wat een heerlijke set! ik heb hem helemaal bijgehouden van begin tot eind Tracklist;

Heerlijke avond dus en niet te vergeten; M_Peror! bedankt voor de gezellige avond en de autotrip! en Arise2 het was top! En op het eind trouwens ook nog met globalgirl, Markus en de Trance-addicts op de foto geweest! als het goed is komt die op de GDJB-site!

Zo te lezen was het echt top... die set van Markus Hopelijk niet de laatste keer van Markus hier in Nederland, want hem wil ik zeker nog wel een keer aan 't werk zien.

Ga je naar feesten om lekker te dansen om of tracklistjes samen te stellen. Dit is echt freaky man! Gewoon de hele tracklist van begin tot eind noemt ie gewoon op..lol!

Het was echt top. Monday Groove idd baby!
Markus is een toffe gast en ben echt benieuwd naar de foto's.

Partyhardy, M_Peror (bedankt voor de lift nogmaals) en Arise2, erg toffe avond met jullie gehad.

Zulke feessies zijn zeldzaam, perfecte locatie, perfecte djs en perfecte sfeer!

haha nee serieus, ik heb ook vet staan feesten hoor, heb alleen telkens gewoon ff het nummer in mijn telefoon gezet.....

WAT EEN WEEKEND!!!

Donderdag ook naar de Armada Night geweest in de Mazzo. Zonder al te hoge verwachtingen werd dit 1 van de leukste feesten van 2003! Echt een super tentje met heel leuk gemengd publiek. Goed geluid ook en super vriendelijk personeel. Ik heb eigenlijk de hele nacht alleen maar lekkere platen gehoord. Lemon 8 draaide heel sterk, zoals een warming up set hoort te zijn. Verassing van de avond voor mij was Armin, die misschien wel de beste set nerzette die ik hem ooit heb horen draaien. Prog-trance, tech-house en kwaliteits trance, het kwam allemaal voorbij. Markus Schulz sloot de avond perfect in stijl af, super vriendelijke gast ook.
Partyhardy was ook weer lekker bezig. De sfeermaker van de avond. Als ie ff naar de plee was zakte de sfeer helemaal in. Ook nog ff kennis gemaakt met ArisE2.

De dag daarna weer naar de Mazzo geweest voor de Border Community Night. Dit is is het nieuwe label van James Holden. Petter, de ontdekking van James en John Digweed mocht de avond openen. Hij is nog maar 18 en komt uit Zweden. Ik sprak James tijdens z'n set en hij vertelde me dat ie 10 producties van Petter heeft klaarliggen om te releasen, allemaal briljante tracks volgens James! Matthew Dekay nam het van Petter over en die draaide een super strakke set. In het begin droge prog met veel tribal invloeden, later meer meleodieus en dieper. James zelf sloot de avond perfect af. Deze avond was iets drukker dan de Armada Night en het publiek was iets tammer maar toch nog heel erg okee. Gewoon een hele goede avond in een club die voor mij DE ontdekking van het jaar is. Ga ik zeker nog vaker terugkomen!

Markus: Yeah absolutely! I just remixed the new Ocean Lab track called Sattelite and I included that one in the set. Last night I played it live in the Mazzo (T.nu: club in Amsterdam) and the crowd went absolutely wild. The promotor from Anjunabeats had a big smile when he saw that. You can also expect Solarmyth - Peace Process (Markus Schulz Remix). That's kind a catchy remix. And more ofcourse....

Tering! ik kan echt niet meer wachten tot donderdag!
Dat wordt me een super ASOT!
