-- Favorite beat
Favorite beat
What is your favorite beat from any song? The song can suck balls yet still have a very attractive beat to it.
Mine would have to be:
Pulsedriver vs. George Kranz - Din Daa Daa (extended mix)
that 'oon ce oon ce oon ce oon ce' beat
that's not important for a trance track
i don't have any idea, but my choice surely goes for a techno or hard techno track, or maybe an acid-core one...for example i like the beat in
DAVE the drummer - "Barbed wire 303", that's not the best beat ever but this is the first one i have thought reading this thread
boris dlugosh - keep pushin
what a beat behind that track
Aphex Twin - 54 Cymru Beats

so the subject is interesting if you consider Hardtechno, or techno tracks, or hardcore ones where the beat is essential...ok the topic is "best beat in ANY song?" so i could choose a techno track...

| Originally posted by Laughingfennec can u understand that the beat in a trance tune is just necessary, nothing more. Tracks like Armin - Communication, Tiesto - Theme from Norefjell, Thrillseekers - synaesthesia, Major league - Wonder where you are...are awesome tracks, but we don't care about the beat, the basslines in a trance track are important, but the beat itself? so the subject is interesting if you consider Hardtechno, or techno tracks, or hardcore ones where the beat is essential...ok the topic is "best beat in ANY song?" so i could choose a techno track...So Floorfiller, just explain why do you think i am stupid? |

| Originally posted by Mr.Mystery Of course the beat is important. What if the beat was flat, bassless and dull? Would it make you dance in a club? Saying beat isn't important in trance is like saying cheese isn't important in pizza. |
but that's only my opinion...
Oliver Lieb - Subsonik (Filterheadz Remix)
