oh well, if every dj did 10 hour concerts i'm sure lotsa peopel would vote for em because when all you hear & see is, tiesto tiesto tiesto

sure, you'll vote for em

good thing he wasnt in the running for producer of the year

although i saw him in ibiza this summer, he was actually mixing well

i dont think he deserves it, but, good for him

what is the dj mag poll based on:

productions
gigs
disk jockey skills?

it's up to people like you and i to say this is my favorite DJ, and the level of musical exprience voters have can vary

people can be in ibiza one night, hear tiesto and say wow, he's amaaaaazing

next night they hear the local dj's spin and relize, wow, these guys are the best DJ's in the world

if u asked what i wanted is to be Armin no1...but im saying he just deserves..i was expecting for this Tiesto to be no1 i didnt want it...i know that people vote for the most famous dj and not the "best" dj as they really should do!

i'm glad we agree on this. i dont hate tiesto myself, i just think there's more selection out there

so happy that tiesto won again! to me the best dj is about the feeling i get when i listen to the music or am at the clubs...an imo, no one comes close to tiesto! congrats tijs! the party at glow this nov 1 should be pretty nuts

Its just a popularity contest, ffs Lisa Lashes is #26 now wtf is up with that she fucking blows. Mistress Barbara was not even close to 26, I believe she is a much better dj but she doesn't pose for sexed up pictures.

Since there are 47 threads on this topic I'll just post in this one.

Obviously it's an utter bollocks popularity contest, but Tiesto by no means deserved to repeat.

I guess as long as he is spreading the music to more people it's a good thing. But not too much.

Anyways if anyone cares here's how my top 5 showed up

before you act like a complete asshole and roll your eyes at me, let me tell you that i've seen just about every popular dj live. i've lived in london for 2 years and and in the dc area/pittsburgh for the past 4. ive seen sasha, digweed, oakie, ferry, armin, tiesto, tall paul, fergie, teneglia, pvd, judge jules, fatboy, donald glaude, chemical bros, basement jaxx, and lisa lashes live to be exact. i've had a wonderful life clubbing and being involved in the trance scene since 1997. i have no idea about your tastes/history so i won't make a judgement about you like you did to me. so here's your

. just because i haven't been on ta for years like some doesn't make me a noob to the scene. reading you various comments about tiesto on ta and tiesto.com, i honestly think you sound like an ass. i love tiesto's music just as much if not more than you, i while i know the clubs are more crowded and many people like tiesto for the wrong reasons, i think its ridiculous for you to hope and pray that he drops. your little temper tantrums are amusing at best. i'm glad that out of the all the people who are discovering tiesto, for whatever reason, there will be some who will appreciate him for the right reasons...

one last point, i would never, NEVER, make an assumption if someone said that they enjoyed a certain artist the most. their experiences are unique that they like what they will like. it is just an opinion or a matter of taste, which you seem to have forgotten. go ahead and long for the glory days of magik 1,2, etc if you please, but don't forget that tijs is the same man that gave you those great feelings in the first place. i don't believe, and i'm probably in the minority, that he isn't what he used to be just because of his newfound popularity. tiesto is my fav, that is my opinion, and your negativity and condesending attitude don't mean jack shit to me. have a nice night.
