why was the dj thread closed?

i don't understand why some threads the "mods" let the flaming continue on forever, yet when a fellow TA-er challenges a mods opinions, he closes it.

not fair and this is one example of a mod abusing his power.

I see this issue differently. TTA called her on her bs, I for one recall when she had the tiesto avatar, and sig, and the omfg tiesto is the best etc. Then a mere 4-6 months later she is anti tiesto and omfg pvd. The only thing that TTA is guilty of is speaking the truth in this matter.

I also see your opinion, the only way that you will get the truly unbiased mod is one who doesn't interact w/ anyone on the board, who can honestly say that they don't like or dislike anyone here. Unfortunately that is impossible, and as such, human nature prevails; the result is exactly what you speak of.

Firstly, everything tta said in that thread is absolutley correct. Apart from that maria111 girl, never in my life have i seen such a bandwaggon jumper as indy. If she keeps jumping Wagons the god dam fucking Wagon is gonna break!

And secondly, this has nothing to do with mods. TTA doesn't even have mods in the music discussion forum. As starter of that thread, he has every right to close that thread if and when he wants. And when the flaming got out of hand thats exactly what he did. Thats what all thread starters should do whether they have mods or not. I dunno what your problem with the mods is tranceyes22, and in particular with tta, but its getting old. Change ur tune

I closed the thread because the thread had been hijacked too much. Since I was the thread starter, I can close the thread if I so desire and that is what I did, late last night. The mods can look at the thread history and it would say that I closed the thread. It is true that I called her on her bluff but then again, the thread was getting out of hand. I take responsibility for not pming her and responding in tranceaddict forum. It is closed, now let's move on.

Tho I was not abusing my power, I was making a statement.

No, but doing so only because it's cool is offensive.
Also, some people seem to think that if you like PvD you can't like Tiesto or the other way around...

i just think that its funny how i see you participate in flaming in other threads, yet let them stay open for your enjoyment. when someone challenges you, the easy thing to do is to close it, to "show them whos boss." i didnt realize you were so threatened by what indy had to say?

and mikeymike- i do have a problem with SOME of the mods. andi know i'm not the only one for damn sure.
