i'm sick of what's happening right now in the Montreal forum , there's too much attitude going , what a shitty vibe running , everyone wants to flame the other just because he's different.
it comes mainly from those of us who stopped listening to trance and instead of having respect for the other members who still listen to it , they keep on bashing them for their tastes.
i will not tolerate this anymore , if i see someone flaming trance in a trance related thread by saying techno/electro/house/whatever is better then i'm simply gonna delete his post (instead of closing the thread and stopping the discussion) , and the same rule goes for a non-trance related thread (if it's a techno thread let's say , then don't bother the people by saying trance is better or whatever) !
if you don't like trance and prefer something else , it's your right to feel evolved or superior , but don't flame the others just because they don't think like you
this forum used to be great a couple of months ago and i never felt the need to warn people about their behaviour , i hate giving orders or settings rules but i think it's time to stop the ridiculous behaviour of some of you !
we all appreciate what the others can bring to this place like the knowledge of a specific genre , but it has to be done in the respect of the others and their opinions. don't forget this is tranceaddict but it's always a pleasure for all of us to discuss other genres too.
it's ok to disagree but there's no need to keep on pushing it , am i clear ?
finally, i would like to remind you that i'm neutral in this case (which means i support no side over the other)
Well said. I'm glad someone came thru and mentioned this. I enjoy most genres but even if I don't like what they listen to I won't bash I kno everyone has there own taste and I respect them for it.Hope this cuts back the amount of crap in the mtl forums.

since when is that a problem on TA??? We always gave our opinion freely and there was WAY more dj bashing in 2002! And Fast I don't agree with you...It's not just because of me...A lot of us ( including you ) are listening mainly to other music than trance, so I don't agree with you saying that THIS IS STILL TRANCEADDICT. We know it, but personnaly I think we are more open minded than this.

It doesn't do anything. We are still good people and we are all friends, we should not be rextricted in our opinions, i don't like trance, it's not me anymore, if alec ( again ... he's the BEST image of the TRance addict guy ) likes trance doesn't mean i don't like the guy ( even though he's an ass :P ) i mean come on guys.
I'm the first one who goes to the big trance night juse to see people i don't usually see, i like those nights the vibe is extroardinary ... i don't like the music .. but still they are great nights...

this hole crap about evolving from trance to techno is a load of crap. Just means you've discovered a different stule of music. I've been on these board since october 2002, and started listening to trance around september of that year, but i was listening to house and techno longggggggggggg before then. So im sorry to say evolving into techno is a load of crap. You just discovered it later, that's all. They are both very different. Techno may be much more technical in the sence of what a DJ can do, but its in no way as uplifting as trance can be. It all depends on what your looking for. Fast is right if you love something write about it and all the other that have comments can write about it too. its when you go into a thread with nothing constructive to bring to the conversation. That what he wants you to avoid.
