my first thought..... now they're just ripping off freddy vs. jason... but this is gonna be big, although i'm not sure i wanna watch it. never liked either of them.

I used to read the Alien vs Predetor comics when I was a kid. Those who say this idea is a rip off of Jason vs Freddy are wrong because the Alien vs Predator thing came up like in 1993

that was what i was gonna say. I bet the film will be based on the original graphic novel, where the predators infect a planet with aliens to hunt, but one predator gets injured and is nursed back to health by this japanese chick and he accepts her or something and it basically a big excuse for lots of alien death!

what i've heard:

A bunch of scientist decide to make a planet for the predators to hunt, so they can study them more, they use the aliens as the prey, nad you can obviously see what is goign to happen.

The basic premise is incredible, but I wasn't too impressed with the plot layed out in that featurette. It seems a little far fetched, plus I don't like the idea that it's on Earth.

I would think Aliens win... they're just too pervasive.

I too dont like the idea of it being in the Antartic i\on earth. I liked the rumors where hunmans experimented with them on a foreign planet and then all hell breaks loose

Ive read Von Danikens book in which he beleives aliens helped build monumental structures in ancient times.

I think the imagery will be cool, seeing the pyramids of south america and aliens swarming them. I hope Thomas Anderson directs this without the Cheeze factor that dominates his films.

Judging from the preview, they have set the right tone in their endorsement.

I think this movie will rock if done properly, emitting the far fetched factor of course.
