I sent my application to the canadian air force, they wont accept me although i am permanent resident i have to be a citizen

i just knew that after i went and applied, i wasnt very clear , because i was hearing diffrent things, so i decided to just sent in a application.

No you can apply even if you are permanent resident if you have the skills for the job.

In all honesty i think rather than killing people my dream was to fly! i am not even looking at it like defending a nation more likely fulfilling what i was meant to do!!!

i find you sarcasm funny , in a weird way though, but i still like it regardless, fellow TA's my best buddies, TA's for life!!!

I've heard that theres a few positions open in the .CA airforce as of late. Hope you make it next time.. be all you can be and all that stuff!

To be in the Canadian Air force you have to be an Officer also, and to be an officer you need an University Degree.

An absolute must-have requirement ... for any officer positions in the Canadian Army.

it's a commercial license. a rating is something added to the license (instrument rating, multi engine rating, for example. For the RCAF you'll need 20/20 uncorrected vision, and the desire to commit to the unknown for 7 years. You WILL NO be assured a flight position, and if you do get a flight position it could be rotary wing (helicopter) or fixed wing of any of the types. You could end up flying a twin otter or something pretty insignifigant around for 7 years. Usually you'll end up doing a few tours of office work too. So of the 7 years you'll be lucky to fly for 3 or 4 of them online.
