Heading to Europe

I'm heading to Europe from around June 28th-Aug 8th and was wondering if anyone here would have any ideas for big festivals to check out.

so far the ones I'm looking into are:

1) Sensation (Black & White)
2) GKGG
3) Dance Valley
4) Gatecrasher
5) Escape Into The Park

I'd like to know if there are any other ones that would be around this time just so I can take a look at them and then choose which ones I want to go see.

i went to amsterdam in august and went to dance valley 9 which was amazing! when i left they gave out bags with flyers and i wet my pants when i saw them. there were about 10-15 big events in clubs the whole month of august and i was leaving 2 days after dv.
so thats my little story... and i wont make the same mistake again.
im back to amsterdam for the whole month of august next time cause i dont know of any other way to find out about parties before.

june of '04?

thats not for a while... I dont think anyone will be able to tell you right now if there's anything scheduled for june/aug...

just go to ibiza

I'm not looking for specifics, just some of the parties that seem to run every year and tend to be amazing so that I can look into them.

Option number 3 is the best. Believe me. Partys in the UK are badly organised and it is always raining. Dutch girls are much better too.
And well sensation......Nah dont go there the dutch outdoor dance festivals are much more fun.

The best choices:
Dance valley
Ibiza
Nature One
Mysteryland
Love Parade

Yeah, Dance Valley is a vey good one (though basvh is somewhat biased on that )..

Personally, I thought GKGG was also a very good one, but that's up to personal taste.. He's right about the rain though, my white sneakers still aren't what they used to be.

Forget about Sensation.

Maybe you should also try the Extrema Festival, which is held in July too, but it could be you don't like the line-up too much, cause there aren't too many trance DJs on it usually.

Oh yeah, and how could you forget about the Love Parade ? Try it, it's good

Oh maybe I'm biased ( i looked it up in the great van dale
) but yeah it is just a great party. I can say i have been to a lot of partys and dance valley is just the best. Best muziek, best atmosphere. the most beatifull girls.

But love parade is also very nice. Ga in a nice hotel and stay a few days it is just great

If you have the chance to come in Spain don't miss Ibiza without a doubt and Lloret Dance Festival. About Ibiza no comments cuz' all the people know. And about Lloret Dance Festival is a outdoor party located in Lloret de Mar (a town in the coast of Girona) with great dj's spinning; Tiesto, AVB, Johan Gielen, Cor Fijneman...
Next year will be the 3th edition of this festival and the date is + or - in the end of july (the '02 editon was in 25th july)
Also in the end of may takes place "El Megaaplec dance", a indoor festival located in Barcelona. It's a great festival with 10 hours of music continously. Don't go before 00:00 is hardcore/rave music. From 00:00 to 5:00 is quality trance (dj's like Ferry, AVB, Marco V, Judge Jules, Kai Tracid, Ronald Van Gelderen... played in this festival)

I'm going to be in Europe to from mid May til the end of July. Looking forward to a lot of the same events, although I'm only going to have weekends free, as I'll be taking classes through Georgia Tech in France.
