B.Kearney & Icone pres Perspective - Matter of Time
Hi folks,
This is a collaboration between myself and Wim..
This originally began as a remix of my own track but we decided to work together to bring you this track 'Matter of Time'
Its a lot more intense and tougher than Icone's recent stuff but contains all the qualities of all of his productions so hopefully u will all enjoy it

Thanks and look forward to your feedback
Bryan Kearney
Oooooh! This is good!! Definitely the sorta stuff I like to hear. It's got that typical Icone sound but the style is somewhat different - it's confusing my poor brain...
No constructive critisism here (sorry 'bout that!). All I can say is - ![]()
This really is an outstanding track by any standard!
Nothing negative to say either... this kicks ass!
like fundamental said.. this is confusing, caus it is the icone style... but it's different... give's me a headache.. haha
no, but it's really nice... will take a listen tomorrow again in my speakers too see if i can find something to comment on
Nice one lads,
Thats exactly what we wanted the track to do, convey the quality of Icone's tracks but with new elements that hadn't been heard before, developing the sound etc...
Keep the comments coming!
absolutely amazing track, this is incredibly unique. as said before, the quality of Icones production applied to some different styles and techniques has always had huge potential. great intro synths and some really good stabby moments.
top track, and good work both producers. we wanna hear more from this duo!!
get this now!!!!!!! 10/10

Thanks guys
Well, this time, Bryan gave me the right ideas to implement some different sounding synths, which I didn't 'dare' to take on at first. I believe they work well with these more agressive sort of tracks.
Cheers!
Wim
Woo, I look forward to hearing this when I get home!

You know I love it. Creative melody and a nice use of the saw lead. It's a very different, catchy track. Good work.
Cheers man glad u like it, its actually one of the first melodies ive composed so for it to be called creative is all good, nice one, i think its good the two of us working together have developed something new with Wims already excellent sound....
Nice one keep comments coming ppl
Superb track guys, I am enjoying it very much. Has a great vibe and energy to it. No criticism from me
been listening to this a good bit more, the power of this track is awesome!!!
Wicked track!!!!!
Good "Power Trance"!!!!
I will very probably play this out if it's OK with you two!?!?!?
Andy
This is great. Good work guys =)
edit: listened a few more times, fucking owns. I'll be playing this out with your permission =)
Thanks for the feedback and nice words!
Andy & Sean, feel free to play it, no probs there
i like this a lot, i think the way it blends styles is fairly cool.
however i think that the high pitched 303 noise that sounds to be gated or written in a gated way is rather too loud and sounds a bit cheap and unrefined in comparison to the rest of the track, something more along the lines of the neo + farina remix of speak in sympathy would be much more appropriate i feel.
apart from that the build is really cool and the notes selected seem to do the job, i'm surprised the string break isn't full of randomness knowing you wim
have to say i prefer it like this, far more euphoric.
i think the melody is a bit weird, but that may be due to the synth and pattern used, im not sure whether the high notes at the end of the sequence quite fit with the rest of it.
i am definately looking forward to future stuff from this though, could be interestind
i have to agree with luke, that high pitched melody is rather loud.
otherwise it's pretty good. very powerful kick! the breakdown is cool, perhaps a bit too much reverb on the strings. the main melody is very good, quite original for a trance track.
great production overall, lots of power!
Nice one for the feedback ppl...
Andy play it out as much as u want man, thanks and whoever else would like, please feel free to do so.
Keep comments coming, good to see ppl think its something original anyway
A very nice track that has a lot of energy.
However I am not too sure about the breakbeat kick when it switches from a standard 4/4 to the breakdown. It just somehow does not feel right as you still have too much going on in the background.
I would have knocked a few sounds out and then brought them back in again with the 4/4 kick.
Apart from that... it's great.
Darrax...
a very good track indeed.....
I like the way it actually sounds like both your styles meshed together...
the melody/fx/bass are great..
really loving this
Nice one guys Darrax and George much appreciated
Darrax we wanted to try something new and i think the break beat sequence is something different than the usual trance build and kick in..
Thanks keep comments coming
Thanks for the input George & Darrax!
As Bryan said, it is to experiment to use different elements at different places. Though this doesn't mean that someone will dislike it, then it's good to hear about that as well.
Yea u said it Wim, there was a thread the other day saying there was a lack of expermintal tracks on the board, so we decided to try something different and i am really happy to see that ppl like the track..
