yes, he got an infection and had to get it amputated.

you can get the Requiem For A Dream soundtrack or you could also get Paul Oakenfold - Zoo York (if that's the one you're thinking of) and i also have a copy titled Ajax Projection - Requiem For A Dream (Remix), it's an orchestra version, the one that was featured in the LOTR2 trailer

leama - requiem for a dream, is the slow trance track

better than any of the aforementioned songs, there's an entire album of requiem for a dream remixed
the cover looks just like the regular soundtrack, but it had big letters sayin 'remix' on it
i got that like 5 months back on a whim, and it blew my mind (note that i hadn't seen the movie yet)
and now i've seen the movie and i can confidently say that both the movie, the original soundtrack,, and the remixed soundtrack are all personal favorites

that was symbolism in action...

"ghosts of things to come" vs. "ghosts of a future lost," was it?

not sure if it was gangrene.. t just looks like an ulceration and that all his durgs got into the tissues around the injection site he kept reusing.. and then everytime he reused that injection site he injected all the bugs into his bloodstream.... when an IV site infiltrates it looks much the same, especially if a drug continues to be infused into the tissues....
