The thing where just before a beat comes the voice sample goes R.....E....A.....L......Y slow, but its not tempo being lowered I dont think.

Yep a time stretching process would sort your problem out, i even think fruityloops has a one or something like that.

I Know The Sound You Want They Use It all the time in hard nrg and as said before fat boy slim... use the fruity granulizer that comes with fruity loops, Then use the preset Stutter, Then play with the top panel of knobs to get that slowed down speach you want, You can get it to sound mettalic allmost robot n cool stuff like that. hope that helps you out

Try triggering the sample i.e. 16 or 32 times over 8 bars or longer, and change the sample-start value along with it.

its a timestrech and delay kinda thing, u can do that in the fruity scratcher i think...

Use fls4 as an instrument in logic, and open ur sample in a granulizer channel in fl.
the fruity granulizer was new to me... So thanks for that tip!!!! It sounds really nice
