Oakenfold MUST win!!!
as you probably know [or NOT!
], there's MTV european awards taking place tonite. believe me, i'm not looking forward to watch them, but i will, just to support PAUL OAKENFOLD! He's nominated to take the best dance award (along to the Chemical bros, moby, junior senior, panjabi mc)...

Hah, Chems could beat Oakie with one hand tied behind their back, blindfolded and hanged upside down.
I'd rather have the Chems win it than Oakey (since Oakey no longer is a dance artist but rather a business man), but that's just me.
it would't be a great dissapointment if chems winned [tho oakie is way much better to me]... but if oakie looses to panjabi, moby or JrSr, i would probably never turn my TV on

and your point is... ??? if a dj does some commercial crap, he's a nobody or what??? pvd has made only commercial stuff 4 about 5 years now, that doesn't make him less popular here, in TA forums!

whats up with all the oakie hate??? i think he is doing well..his great wall cd is awesome..his new track hypnotized is gold..and his sets of late are marvelous...so stop the oakie hate will ya he aint doin that bad..the bunkka year has passed

I dont want Oakenfold or Chemical Brothers to win.
Oakenfold has gone shaky again, he had a relly good period this year
at like April - October or something, but now.. nah.
And about the Brothers, gees. Listen to "The Golden Path", crap.

then again its an oakenfold thread and it has the word win...

And on a side note, I don't condemn him for being a "business man." Let's face it... if you were doing something you loved, and realized a way to make a crap load of money from it, you'd do it too! Don't even lie and say you wouldn't. There is nothing wrong with him making money doing the things he loves, and making millions of other people happy in the meantime.
Also, there is nothing wrong with him expanding as an artist/producer/dj/business man/etc. and trying out new things... i.e. Bunkka. Did you really expect him to just spin the same trance songs for 40 years? All of the good djs/producers "change."

I guess who wins depends on where the votes are comein from. JOKENFOLD's got it locked if they go by sales since, he's got his own section in the music store, and releases a cd every other week. BUT i'm pullin 4 the BRO's on this one.
Just an opinion...I'm still entitled to one...RIght??
