PVD - Reflections

Just wasted $24 on Reflections by PVD. How is it his live set at Warehouse was so good, yet, get given the choice between having my teeth drilled or listening a second time to reflections, I would have to choose the teeth drilling option.

Has PVD totally sold out or has he just lost the bigger picture?

Mr. Mystery: no shit, I have never been disappointed by PVD before, I made a bad assumption! I did download two tracks, and they happened to be decent, I didn't know that besides those 2, only one was halfway decent. Will sell on ebay.

Skip: I will post whatever the hell I want, i think the album is shite, and maintain that. F U.

lol you bought a producers album expecting it to be in the form of a liveset? dumbass. You deserved to lose your $24. And I don't see how just because the music on it isn't quite to your taste means he has sold out or lost the "picture."

You shouldn't spend more than $15 on a single cd, unless it's a 2disc set.

I think Reflections is tite! First time i hear PvD do some different stuff other than trance on his albums.

It isn't one of his "dancier" albums but I guess the title doesn't mean anything does it?

Reflections seems like what he's trying to portray by trying. Unlike some other artists that seem to outright sell out to the genre Paul has his wits about himself. He seems to want to do new things but not shock us into some garbage tracks. Sure "Nothing but You" and "Time of our Lives" have been played at 99.99% of PvD's gigs but we all know that these tracks somehow speak to us just like other artists do with their tunes. Anthems they are and will be. We all know that an artist can't please 100% of the people 100% of the time. PvD can cut good studio albums just like his live sets.
