Would Microsoft be upset if i submitted my CV in PDF format??

what u think??

I've got a lovely lookin PDF CV, but i dunno if they'd be overly impressed

No one asked about being impressed... but rather upset. I don't think it could "help" you to submit it in PDF. I would print a hard copy on proper resume paper... i.e. heavy weight paper. I would not submit a PDF to Microsoft. If you can convert it to look just as nice in a Word file, that's a different story. Just make sure that copy of Word is legal!

Word?

Any joe blow can write up a CV in word. But how many have the vision of writting the CV in a document format which looks good on screen, on print and is an open standard , viewable across platforms and applications? If MS is smart , they'll be impressed (then again i might be asking too much from them ). Go with PDF.

you should print the pdf out, scan it in, and attach the images inside a word document
