Record / Equipment
Hi people! The first thing: I'm a begginer, so my questions may be stupid!
1 - Well, I have a workstation FANTOM (Roland) and a good computer. I would like to know how can I record my trance songs. I can't play them on FANTOM because of its 64 voices, so what can I do??? I have all the song in my mind (loops, bass, drum, hit-hat, effects, etc.) but I don't know how to put it all together. Should I sequence the song in FANTOM and record each sound in computer in WAVE form???? How MIDI could help me??? Is it possible to make a live performance just with FANTOM and my PC??? PLEASE help me...
2 - What equipment should I have to make trance music??? Should I have a Beta Machine??? Sould I have a Pick Up??? Help me...
THANKS VERY MUCH (and forgive me if my questions are too stupid...)

I don't know anything about the Fantom, but as it's a workstation you should be able to put together entire tracks using it. Read the manual!
You could run a sequencer program on the computer rather than using the Fantom sequencer, and connect the Fantom and computer together using MIDI. If you're using a computer based sequencer you could also start using VSTi or DXi instruments.
