Perfect Contrast

The melody is the heart of a song. If the melody is great, then the song has some personality. Some examples of songs with personality are:
*Dj Quicksilver - Bellsima
*Yahel - Voyage
*Paul Van Dyk - For an angel
*Kaycee - Escape
If you listen to them you can see that the melody is short and simple, but strong. These kind of songs are the ones that I whistle in the bathroom, when Im happy, etc. They left an impression on my mind. I know just a few of this kind of songs, theyre legends.

Now, there are beautifull songs which doesnt have a simple melody, but are just excellent, like:
*Insigma Open your eyes
*Armin Communication
*Lost tribe Gamemaster
Theyre masterpieces, but dont have that personality Im talking about. Theyre complex.

So, Im looking for songs with personality. Not complex, just songs with simple, short and strong melodies. If you can list some, Thank you!!!

By the way, I have a theory (About 1 year ago I started listening trance and now its the only music I listen; but Im not an expert):
The songs that have this personality are the ones that common people like, and for that, the ones that get commercialized. For example:
*Alice Deejay - Better off alone
*Darude - Sandstorm
*Robert Miles - Children
*Safri duo - Played alive
They have really short strong and simple melody.
Complex = Not commercial

k lemme get this straight??????
You are looking for songs with personality. Not complex ones, just songs with simple, short and strong melodies. You're examples of songs with personality were:
*Alice Deejay - Better off alone
*Darude - Sandstorm
*Robert Miles - Children
*Safri duo - Played alive .......
basic math states that if Complex = Not commercial. Then Not Complex = commercial.

So you're basically looking for commercial songs right?

No man, no! If I were looking for commercial songs, then my post would have been: "Can you list some commercial songs?"

Aaah! didn't you read the post? I thought it was clear!

That are just examples of songs that are commercial because they have personality, not that have personality because they're commercial!

P.S. According to your so called "basic math", if 1 = Integer. Then any other number = No integer. JA! JA!

how about riva-stringer. simple, catchy, has a personality, i think. i dunno though, any song can be as simple as your mind makes it. i can hum any song that i listen to while im in the bathroom or wherever else. if you have the songs beat stuck in your head i guess its not that hard to whistle it, even though your the only one who knows what song it is.

Thank you! I've never heard before Riva - Stringer. That's exactly what i'm talking about.
A song with a "sticky" melody has "personality".
Any other like this out there?
