hahah what else do u expect

My mate's cousin used to run the Thursday nights there, so we used to go occasionally for the free drink cards. Shame to see its reputation get fucked up like this, because it's a pretty decent club with a pretty decent sound system. It's only the psychotic patronage that ruins it and stopped me from going there more.

Haha, those were the days. I saw Five there at an underage event before they made it big.

Yeah I remember when it first opened it used to get a pretty cool crowd in.. we used to sneak in via back door sometimes or we'd con the bouncer to let us in by pretending i was "the DJ's brother". I remember going to see Hybrid perform there.

Heheheh them were the days indeed! Warehouse and Metro were OK, but the ultimate in underage sadness were teh Moorabin town hall parties... now they were gold. I still smile my ass off when i drive past that place.

I was there last saturday and had the best night. Its a nice club, awesome sound system. Didn't see or hear of one fight or any trouble. It'd be a shame if it had its liquor license revoked because of the stupid friday night they have there.

On a related note: stabbing at Melbourne Uni

Apparently the salt thing was relating to a huge brawl which involved martial arts weapons. Imo anyone caught with machetes (sp?), or any other kind of sword etc for that matter should be dealt with harshly. What possible reason would you have for carrying one of those, other than to attack someone with...

Reminds me of that Ali G interview:

"So what if you was in the kitchen chopping carrots wiv a machete or somefin' cos you don't have anyfin' else, when the phone ring and it slip into your sock and you don't know and then you is running to get a bus and it fall into someone's arm... you know, a couple of times. Is that legal or illegal?"

its amusing cause you're not far off.

few years ago, i'm sure some wil remember, there was a an asian guy, long hair, who loitered around the city topless wearing fairy wings. he use to juggle balls, climb trees etc. strange because he wasnt a busker. he'd do that and just start interacting with anybody who walked by, then suddenly become tarzan. he actually made an appearance on those "melbournge is great! come to melbourne!" ads at the time. the wackiness managed to get him a job down at galactic circus at crown, n u know how they're all s'pose to dress up? well, he came as himself hehe.

i still see the guy ocassionaly. but he's gotten all serious and student like. fully clothed, short hair, and a bag + arm ful of books these days.
