ATTN: MTV's True Life: I'm a Clubber, TONIGHT 10PM

Thursday, November 13th MTV will air a show called True Life: I'm a Clubber at 10pm EST. I wonder how MTV will portray our scene...I've found the True Life series to be pretty non-bias so it should be interesting to watch. I wonder what clubs they went to and which DJs, if any, will be on the show.

Just notifying all those who might want to tune in.

From what the commercials show, it looks more like the electronica club scene, esp. afterhours and the addiction of the scene as a whole. Should be pretty damn interesting, and hopefully will be not far off the mark.

Yeah, I'm not sure what genre clubs will be covered but I can only assume it that some electronica clubs will be in the show. The True Life series is usually pretty solid.

Boring..yes....real life...also yes.

Looked kinda cool, but you can tell that they try to give you the truth, but they still look for the sensational stories so they can get ratings.

By watching MTV you contribute to their "ratings" which helps them get money for advertising etc. (i.e. in order to stay in operation) show some bloody willpower. TeeVee has nothing truly useful to offer outside of films, in my opinion.

Films are an artform whereas, cable/satellite/chooseyourflavor television is a bastardization of said artform. It serves occasional the interim purpose of information (news) which can easily be gleaned from other, often less sensational sources. do you have to be educated with "useful" artforms every minute of your life or can you sit out for a few hours and watch mindless entertainment. after doing all this damn work in grad school I feel like my mind is going to explode, so I sit in front of the tv and zone out for a few hours, all is good in the end.

There are actually good shows on discovery and court tv too, ya just have to find em.

I've learned alot on TV stations like History Channel, TLC, and Discovery.
