i heard his wife is also into music and if im not mistaken (i really might be, tho) she made a track called "heaven can wait"...nice vocals in that one

AFAIK, his wife performed as Sandra in the 80's

i have her track Secret Land + Violet club mix of it, it's pretty nice, synthpop, but very good synthpop.

1. Principles of Lust (Awesome Gregorian Chants)
2. Rain Song
3. Marakesh
4. Return to Innocence
5. In the Shadow, In the Light, Weightless off of their new album Voyageur.

Why is it then when I listen to Enigma I feel like I am in a place of tranquility with a gorgeous woman watching the sunset @ my side.

DREAM OF THE DOLPHIN [kinnda old, but very deeeep]
i really like PUSH THE LIMITS [atb rmx] also...

it's quite hard to choose the best ones...

05) Child in Us

IMHO, Cretu went downhill after Le Roi Est Mort, Vive le Roi.. I mean, Screen Behind The Mirror was an okay album, but weakish compaired to the rest, while Voyager is simply unmemorable and sounds cheesy in parts... Hell, even russian bootleg E4 - Metamorphosis sounded better..

The best tune is Sadeness.. so old but still very listenable, in fact every song on the MCMXC A.D. album is excellent.
My top 3 would have to be

1. Sadeness
2. The Eyes Of Truth <- WOW!
3. Return To Innocence

Nice thread guys. I like all the enigma tunes i must admit. But if we haveto just choose three, from the top of my head id say:

~1 Return To Innocence
~2 Mea Culpa
~3 The Rivers If Belief
~5 Sadness (Part 1)

(Couldnt restrict to just 3 lol)
So ambient, with so much meaning, and so relaxing...

On the note. I strongly recomend Enigma DVD Titled "Remember the future" It has all the best hits and is amazing with features such as meaning behing the songs and videos ahh too hard to explain but a must buy guys
