ok ive taken a listen now (plus had sleep which feels better)

i wont bother saying its not better than the original cos u already know that :P the main thing with this track is it sounds a little empty but theres some sounds in there with alot of potential to be beefed up a little. the bassline needs to be filled out to make the track flow along better i think and to give the track stronger undertones overall. main lead has a nice sound to it but unfortunately theres just no big kick when it comes in it needs more oopmh behind it .. like the original does

plus this is proly easily fixed with some mastering but the volume fluctuates all throughout the track, for example whereever the beat drops out for a little while the rest of the track gets much louder and then equalises out again when the beat returns

you gota a very promising sound tho! tough track to remix especially if everyone's heard the massive original (real nice work btw MK-S u are god u know that? ) but keep it up mate!

thanks for the comment mate..

Though this is my first project in reason, i still learning the art of substractor and malstorm, i also find reason real hard, because when you make something in it, and render it sounds a bit diffrint.

about the climax, i know it doens't have the bang, but i didn't wanne mess with the break alot, since i ALWAYS got stuck there, and quit a project :P.

For the baseline, i don't know it has 2 base sounds, layerd, i thought it would do, so if you got any tips would be nice

About the mastering thing, this is not mastered, i have no idea how to master a track, i try to EQ it as much as possible in reason, to make it sound clear, but i guess thats not enough.

thanks for the review.

Hey, I liked this. A more relaxed version of the original. Still sounds like it do with bigger builds. But, I enjoyed this a lot!

Way better than anything I was creating in my early days that's for damn sure.

I really like this remix, I think it's quite good. It has an obviously amateur feel to it, but it's not at all bad, just need some more practice. Areas I'd beef up are the percussions and bassline, and add a little phatness to the lead.

Overall a quite enjoyable remix though.

this is very good for someone who is still learning, as Mike said-can see real progression in this remix

can see big things coming from you over the next few months if you keep at it. you will learn more and more, each tune will be better and better until one day ur gonna get released

great work

thanks for the comments everyone really helps.

I am still trying to figur out how to make a powerfull synths, in reason, i feel that 1 substractor won't do, so i need to expermint with layering, like mike told me.

I'll see what i can do with base and percussion in next projects, i still find that it's my weak spot including break :P

i have had weak spots at everything... first i thought that my percussions and kick's and such was the best i made...
then suddenly i thought they sucked and i started to like my melodies and synth's more etc....

now i'm starting too like my percussions and kick's and such, but i'm not that happy with my synth's and melodies anymore.. hahahaha

but i'm pretty much with novastorm and the other's about the power, and percussions and such

You're going the right way with this one mate, really good for someone who is still learning. That doesn't mean that I'm not learning anymore though

Keep up the good work!
Wim
