Sounds very nice but its very empty for hard trance. Beef up the bassline and add some percussion fills, and do something about the harshness of the synth. The synth sounds like it has too much reverb on it, not enough resonance, and its just too loud.

Fix this stuff and it'll be great.

Sounds okay. The level of the main lead is off though. Its way too high. Lower it down a few dB. Percussion work is good. One thing I'm kind of against though is the use of the word "exstacy" in songs.

Fix up the levels and it should turn out better.

Beginning is cool - but it definitly needs reverb or something to fill it up - sounds very empty

when the girl says XTC it sounds like it's out of tune with the rest of the track - get an autotuner to fix that www.analogx.com has a nice one...

the bass sounds like it's out of tune..

your left channel is pretty heavily distorted too.. lower your levels and compress to avoid that..

The lead at 4:20 is cool though - over all not too bad.. work on filling it up some

Am I going to add this track to my playlist? Why or why not? No, I don't believe I will. Mainly because it sounds so empty.. it's basically just the precussion.. the lead and the bass.. work on your composition knowledge a bit as well (piano lessons helps that) - sounds corny but believe me, it helps...

thx

hey guys thanks a lot for your comments.
(Comments always help)
You re right the sequenzes are too loud, i ll change that, and some other stuff.
@ transmission: I ll prepare a remix pack and send it to your mail [email protected] ... i got the vocals (and most of the other samples) from all kinds of samples sites. Its hard to find good vocals on the net theses days (i think) but i decided to take that stupid little "XTC" one
By the end of the day i might already have the new version uploaded!
Ciao Philipp

Posted by Salem on Nov-14-2003 18:36:

hi

good job, good hard trance....the only thing is that, it could have a bit better of a bassline, yea know, a lil thicker for lack of a better term.

Posted by hey cheggy on Nov-15-2003 04:28:

Okay mate. I've started today. You want it hard ay? Well I hope you like acid

Posted by alanzo on Nov-15-2003 04:32:

It is going to prove somewhat difficult to make this "hard" since the melody is in minor.. but I will see what can be done

Posted by PhilB on Nov-15-2003 10:12:

NO!!!!!!!!!!

No dont make it sound like Acid!!!
lol just kidding make it sound like what you want it to sound like!
I agree with the last post that making it harder is not SO easy but hey, u wanna give it a try? if so then you re welcome - ask me for the remix package!
Ciao Philipp

Posted by alanzo on Nov-15-2003 18:41:

Alright mate, its all finished. Its got hard uplifting trance, its got techy-tribal percussion, its got breaks, its got acid. The only thing it needs now is somewhere to upload.

Phil, can I upload it to your website? I'm not to knowledgable on these matters.
