U.S. Should gladly leave the Korean Peninsula

On this Rememembrance Day enlighten me as to why exactly should young Americans offer a defence for a generation of ungrateful Korean students who riot in the streets and burn flags of the U.S.A. Didn't realize that downtown Seoul was downtown Tehran. Certainly South Korea can take care of itself, it is economically stable, it has a standing army, so what the hell are we doing there. I realize that this may be power politics at work, it would however be perfect justice to pull out of the Peninsula, and then I am sure we would see the reunification of the two Koreas (if you know what I mean).

But Dick....without Taiwan who would buy Submarines and missiles and such from your pals in the defense industries?

I say we back out of Colombia and Bolivia before Korea. I agree on the Chinese Taipei issue though.

Why not sell to the Chinese? They seem like alright guys with oodles to spend! Plus they're halfway around the world ... what could possibly go wrong? Cheney and Cheney '08!

Yeah, the most intense things nowadays are a suicide bombing or two...I'm already thinking about not watching the news.
