Ambient songs- need suggestions

Hey people, i have recently started listening to some ambient songs, but i admit I have no idea about the genre and i would like some suggestions about good songs to get.

I downloaded Nalin and Kane - Beachball, and that was cool

I want to make a compilation to listen to while i am lying in the sun, next to the pool, soaking up some rays. Ahhhhh, summer, don't you love it?

Just starting for me down here in Australia. Yay!!

The reference for real ambient (not the chillout stuff most people mean) is Aphex Twin - Selected Ambient Works Vol. 2

try some boards of canada, and aphex twin. they are great ambient.. some aphex is more chillout, but still i love it.
