Yeah I heard the announcement on Rush whilst driving to the city last nite. It sounds like its gonna be an awesome night! Big congrats to Cam on getting the gig, i'm sure you will rock

Posted by muli on Nov-16-2003 09:28:

well im not going to paintball now.

Im going to See B&J & Kid Vicious. Above & beyond dont really do it for me and apart from Cam as support the rest of the line-up dosnt appeal to me, especially some of those rave DJs

Congrats on the gig Cam, nice work

YES Cam killed it. Cam was on first so their weren't all that many people their but the majority of people who were their were up dancing to Cams set Including me !

Unfortunately i had to leave about 30 minutes after Cams set so no big revue here

yeah Cameron's set I was very impressed with.. great to hear melodic trance in the old Zen

Hi ppls

i was there last night (tall guy in the jeans and freshjive "punkture madness" tshirt with 3 gals) and had a good time. Was hoping for some more melodic/uplifting tunes but still had a good night. Only caught about 30mins of camerons set and i was impressed. There was a track nearing the end of the set that went something along the lines of "standing in the rain...lalala". Got a track name for me anyone?

ended up heading home about 2am because of work commitments today.

I'd also like to take credit to being one of the first ppl on the dancefloor

Excellent, ill have to keep an eye out for it. Just hoping i dont miss the chance to get a copy of this like i did with Polaroid - So damn beautiful (dogzilla mix).

I heard about it through rush (which im a devoted listener of) and actually won one of the free double passes hehe Actually, speaking of which, it wasnt on last night was it? anyone know why?

well there were some played yes, but i love em Mabye my definition of what a melodic/uplifting track is, is different to everyone else.

Time to introduce myself i think

My name is Matt Parker, ive been into dance music as a whole since about 1997 or so when wild fm was in its heyday. I called up wild eventually and offered my services for the next broadcast however their next broadcast never came as the final one they were planning fell through.

Ive since been clubbing with various groups of friends but mainly a few gals that i know from the northern beaches. Theyre mostly into commercial stuff, but im trying to broaden their tastes

Got my hands on a ferry corsten "trance nation" cd a few years back and loved it to bits, so when he came out here in about 2001 for the ministry of sound annual tour, i went along and enjoyed myself thoroughly.

Ive been reasonably keen on trance ever since then but since RUSH has been on air, ive been keeping up more.

About 6mths ago i bought decks (2 x American audio PRODJ-2 & Behringer mixer, pioneer HDJ-1000 headphones) so i can start to learn to dj myself and have been enjoying it, altho i wanna ditch my setup in favour of a Pair of SL1200s and a pair of CDJ-1000's

I live in south west sydney (about 100kms out of teh city itself), so i dont club anywhere near as much as i would like to, but u know, nothin i can do about it.

Fave djs are Ferry Corsten, Dj Tiesto, Andy Van, Jason Bye and plenty of others that i could list forever.

Hope to chat to u all at length over the time im here

Matty
