Love is in the air FERRY@Showbox REVIEW

WOW GUYS!!! NOT AT ALL WHAT I EXPECTED!! (TAKE THIS IN A GOOD WAY)

I HAD A GREAT TIME LAST NIGHT! I was afraid that the venue would be sooo packed that you couldnt walk but.. nope.. PERFECT! I really like your venue! I felt like last night was like a homey private spinning.. which to me was AWESOME! Your city rocks.. almost felt unreal how wonderful everyone was!

I was in the green room from the start! got in with ease! I thought the night opened well!! Loved the muzik walking in.. I walked in dancing! DJ RAP!! ROCKED>.. i read a little bit about her before walking in.. i knew she'd be off da hook! But she was just amazing.. although .. DUDE SHE's HOT! and I have to say.. A LITTLE DISTRACTing if your trying to just dance...LOL! HEHEHE NIRVANA... i personally never liked that song.. but she rocked it soooo well last night, LOL!! FUN FUN!! I love her personality.. it really kept the crowd goin.. Ferry kept peeping out from the corner and was beboppin on the sides! The crowd surfin!!!LOL YOU'VE GOTTAN LOVE A DJ WHO LOVES HER FANS!!

Ferry... I'm glad he was having a ball up there! I only have ONE complaint...why did they kick him off so early?? You could tell he wasn't ready.. and i thought things weren't supposed to end till 3am? I've never seen a venue pull the plug halfway through a song like that.. let alone with someone like Ferry.. let alone it was his first time there!???WTF?? do they have issues with city laws? or why was that???!!!!

I was going to afterparty.. but decided to just chill at home instead and just wait till tonight! Not sure what i'm going to do.. but maybe I'll see some more of you tonight!

MY SHOUTOUTs! Sorry i couldn't people..didn't know who i was looking for.. but Dianna.. girl you and your friends were AMAZIN!! dancers!! ROCK ON!! OREGON PEEPS!! THANKS for making my night in Seattle so much fun!! SEATTLE TA's i'm hoping you were some of the folks i was dancin with.. nevertheless... thanks for the party!! It was my best friend's first time..YEAH! we had fun!

That Nirvana track is...

Nirvana vs. Adam Freeland - Smells Like Freeland

DJ Rap played it here, too.

I love when DJs play it ... because the crowd always has this really confused look on their face, until the hardcore Nirvana part with the guitar kicks and the whole place always goes whacko.

That's awesome....right after she finished her set, she, without any warning, just came up and said "thank you" and gave me a nice big smooch. I was like, "woh!" :P

Her accent is so cool.

The DJ booth here was completley approachable from the rear...yet there were only a couple of us back there the whole night. The main dance floor area was HELLA packed, though.

I was there

man what a great show that was, the crowd was INSANE, definatly the best crowd I've ever seen in seattle, but the showbox closing at 1:45 was a major buzz kill

Seems like they did the same thing when Tiesto was here ... his set ended at 1:45 as well, but fortunately he came on a bit earlier than Ferry did. My guess is that the owners of the showbox don't care to keep the place open past 1:45 when they can't sell drinks anymore ...

And yeah, that place was definitely alive ... one of the better shows i've been to. I had a Great time.

no, that would be wrong... one, its the job of the promoter to get the licences to go longer... two, it seems as if this happens only to trance related DJs... *remembers PvDs stare of death to the Showbox security guard*

if it were someone like Donald Glaude, DJ Dan, and esp Mark Farina and/or Miguel Migs, GUARENTEED it goes until at least 3am...

Uhuh. So why would the promoters or the owners care to keep the place open past 2 if they are not going to make any more money that night? You are right, whenever there is a big name dj in town they are going to fill the place anyway, so we should get used to getting less than what we paid for.
